Why Neutral Items Are Not So Basic

Have you ever seen a basic, neutral top and think “OMG, that is the cutest grey top ever?” Probably not! Neutral items aren’t what catches our attention, because they are basics… meaning boring!! There’s no wow factor, therefore we most likely don’t gravitate towards them. Are basics, just basics? Well babes, I’m here to tell you why neutral items are not so basic after all 🙂

They Even Out Your Look

You guys know I’m all about bright colors and prints, its how I roll, but I can never pass on a good neutral basic! The best part about neutrals is the fact that you always need them, essential for your wardrobe! There’s no way to rock those bright statement looks without adding some neutral basics.

Look Expensive

Even though you may be rocking a $20 grey sweater and a pair of Target OTK boots, instead you look like head to toe in Chanel!! Neutral items aren’t as basic as they appear, automatically they present as a higher end item. A Classic!!

Timeless

Unlike many trends that come and go over the years, basics NEVER ever go out of style. They are here to stay! A great pair of white skinny jeans (yes, white!) will always be trending!!
