When Life Gives You Lemons + WW Linkup

When life gives you lemons, you make lemon drops 🙂 If I had to pick one fruit to have, it will be lemons. I use it to cook and to clean chicken and fish. When I’m feeling fancy and want to decorate my dinning room table I typically go for lemon center piece. I use lemons for my water and my frozen drinks. Sometimes I even like eat them… I know, its a little crazy! But when it comes to fashion, I was never a huge fan of wearing fruit. As much as I find them to be cute, that was all they were to me… cute. I felt the style was a little too young for me. This summer I have seen so many fruit stylish pieces, it has changed me mind big time! First, I started with a lemon beach bag and now I am obsessed with the print!!

I found this ruffle lemon romper at TJ Maxx for under $20 🙂 I did not even had to think about it, I knew it needed to come home with me. One downfall is it runs on the smaller side, so its a bit short on me. Since yellow is the color of the season, I played around a bit with my accessories. These yellow wedges one of my most comfortable wedges I own. My feet feel just fine after a long day at work and for those ladies that own lace up wedges, know the struggle they can be.

I added a denim jacket for those cool summer nights and some yellow statement jewelry to complete my outfit.

Is there a particular style or print that you feel is a bit too young for you?

I have had a great relaxing week with my family over. I am going to miss them as they go back home today. But mama has a lot of work to do this weekend, since I’ve been slacking big time!
