Hi loves,
I have a new clothing subscription box to share with you all. I am so thrilled to have finally tired Trunk Club. I’ve been eyeing this subscription box for a while now and I finally decided to get in with the program and order my first box. And I am so thrilled with this service so far and of course my goodies I received that I can’t wait to share with you guys. Plus, I am going to need help deciding what to keep!
Before I share with you what I received in my box I want to go over Trunk Club Clothing Subscription with you, incase you aren’t aware. Trunk Club is a Nordstrom affiliation subscription service where you can request a box whenever you please. This means two things, everything they sent you can be seen in their Nordstrom website. Also, it isn’t a monthly subscription service. Whenever you need something special or if you’re in need of a few pieces to complete your wardrobe you can request a box. They do have an option for you to receive a box monthly or quarterly. There is a $25 styling fee you pay before receiving your box. This fee can be used towards your final purchases which is always a huge plus.
One cool aspect I like about Trunk Club is the interaction you have with your stylist. You will go back and forth with your stylist about your likes, dislikes, budget and what you are looking for. They’ll ask questions like how you dress for the weekend, work, etc. to better understand your personal style. Unlike Stitch Fix, you actually know what you are getting in your box prior to receiving it. You will need to approve everything in your box before it ships. At this time you can decline any item(s) you wish not to receive, pick a different color, choose any add ons you wish to receive and/or ask for more items in your fix. Once you receive your box, you have 5 days to try on your goodies. Anything you don’t like or want can be shipped back free of charge.
There is much more to this subscription specially if you have a Nordstrom near you were you can actually pick up your box in store (instead of receiving it through mail) and do the try on in person with your stylist. I also read they are able to any alterations if needed which is awesome. Unfortunately, there isn’t a Nordstrom near me for this option.

You already know how much I love anything wrap inspired, checkout post here, here and here. Its my thing! It one of those pieces that I know works for me every single time. Originally my stylist picked this top in black which looks just as lovely as the white version, but I feel I will gravitate towards it more if it was in white. I love the buckle detail and the elastic on the waistline. It’s a relaxed style top so you can definitely pair it with pencil skirts for next season, specially leather pencil skirts! This top fit perfect on me and I think I will regret not staying with this top.

Madewell Button Front Mid Rise Skinny Jeans
I am thinking of rounding up my favorite pair of jeans on a blog post soon, because I am a jean lover for sure. This is my first pair of Madewell jeans and I’m already in love! The fit and stretchy in these is what we all want in jeans! They feel good on the waist, butt, and legs. Finding one that fits all those areas is the cherry on top! And of course the front button detail is right up my alley. But as a denim lover, do I really need another pair of skinny jeans? I think 98% of all the denim I own have some type of distress to them. It’s nice to find I pair without any that I like and in dark wash for next season.

Hudson Jeans Tally Crop Skinny Jeans
I am still on a hunt for a pair of crop denim jeans… one day I’ll find the right pair. I truly wanted to like these jeans. First, they are a medium wash which I love. Plus it’s the cropped style I’ve been searching for. These babies also feel so soft, it doesn’t even feel like you are wearing jeans. Unfortunately, these did not fit me at all. They are about 2 sizes too big and fit me perfectly in length rather than that cropped style I am looking for. I could exchange them for a different size if I want though.

Statement pieces count me in! I love creating and adding statement pieces to my everyday look so I am so digging the statement shoulder action in this beautiful top! I wish you can feel the material in this lace top, extremely soft. And it feels so good on. This top is completely sheer, so you will need to add a cami or bralette underneath for coverage. It’s long enough that can be tucked in and can be worn with any bottoms, from jeans to trousers. Navy to me feels like black. Not a color I normally go for. I actually only own one navy top in my wardrobe if that explains it. And to my surprise, the one navy top I own is a lace off the shoulder. But what’s throwing me off is it looks like a table cloth my mom used when I was younger… I may have to skip this one.

Something Navy Carly Block Heel Sandal
Orange red shoes? Yes, please! I adore these sandals!! They are very different than what I own. So sexy and sensual! It expose your toes which I think its different and fun at the same time. I love the square toe look. It’s a 2in block heels which means they are extremely comfortable to walk on. Part of me loves them, the other part feels like maybe it’s too late in the season to incorporate these into my wardrobe. What are your thoughts? Make note, if you have more of a narrow foot and may feel too loose, causing your toes to slide off.

KUT from the Kloth Helena Denim Jacket
I LOVE Kut for their jeans. It’s a brand I discover from stitch fix and have been in love with them ever since. I have never tried their denim jackets though and it sucks that I haven’t. This jacket feels like it was made for me and my body. It curves in with my body creating flattering look. If you’re petite and looking for a denim jacket that doesn’t overwhelm your frame, this is it guys! I also like the denim wash on it, its kinda like a medium, acidy wash to them. I love throwing on a denim jacket all year long to complete my wardrobe and to keep me warm. I feel like a denim jacket just changes your whole look for the better.

Reformation Marseilles Shibori Linen Minidress
This is hands down my favorite piece in this whole box! I can’t get enough!! There are so many features I love. The watercolor print is so gorgeous! I can’t say I love watercolor print as much, but when it has the right colors in I am all in. I know it’s a little difficult to see, but the skirt is wrap inspired. I was little confused when trying it on, but I can totally see how it’s a benefit. The wrap actually helps the fit. I truly want to keep this dress, but one its the most expensive item in my box. I’m not sure about you, but I rather splurge on items I wear everyday, such as basic pieces for my wardrobe. And second, I’m not sure how much use I can get, being that summer is almost over to justify the price.
What items you think I should keep?
I am also sharing these looks on my insta stories today. Make sure you head over to watch my first impression on these items 😉
