Hi loves,
As a fashion lover I get so excited to try new fashion trends! Finding new trends to fall in love with is every fashionista’s dream. But I would be lying if I didn’t give basics its deserve attention. Basic’s are not only needed in everyone’s wardrobe, but they classics that will never go out of style. These are pieces we can invest on, knowing year after year they will still be relevant and even items we can hand down to our loved ones.

I know some people don’t mind spending the extra cash on trends or on items that are for special events. I’ve been tempted a few times. It’s best to wait a couple of seasons to see if that trend is worth that extra cash. Now when we are talking about timeless classics that will never go out of style, spending a little extra on these pieces is the way to go.

When creating a timeless classics list, I could have honestly think of so many good items. I try to list universal items any lady can have regardless of the season to make it more fair for everyone.

Fitted Blazer
Personally I love a good blazer. I’m a big fan of layering my outfits and blazers is always my first option. I have different style blazers, from boyfriend to fitted. As much as I love my boyfriend blazers, there nothing like a blazer that fits me to a T! You can wear a fitted blazer for work, with dresses and skirts or even causally with jeans and sneakers. If you don’t own one yet, I recommend getting one in neutral colors to start. This copper satin blazer was one of my first purchases for winter and it was definitely a start purchase. I love a can add this to a ton of simple looks for a pop.

Mid Rise Skinny Jeans
Can we remember the times low rise jeans were the thing? What were we thinking? Whether you have the mommy pouch or the taco pouch (not judging) there is nothing like the camouflage aspect mid rise jeans give us. Helps you look leaner, taller, and flatters your body showing all your good curves. Finding the right pair of jeans is just as hard as finding the perfect bathing suit. I did a post in the beginning of fall talking all about my must have jeans and I have to add Mott & Bow to my list. Besides their quality being so awesome, they have a home try on program that is literally the best idea ever! You are to pick the size you normally wear and add a size up or down to your oder. You get to try both on and send back the one that doesn’t fit right… for free!

A White Tee
Can I get an AMEN?! A white tee is literally a no brainer! I can sit here all day and give you tons and tons of outfit ideas surrounding a white tee. I wear them all season long, dressed up or casually. And because I use a white tee constantly and it has been a total classic in my book, I don’t mind spending a few extra on them. I also like having more than one option. Cotton white tees is usually what everyone thinks about, but I love finding a mix of cotton and modal for that extra stretchy and soft fabric like this one. Plus they last wash after wash.

Pumps
As much as I adore booties or even a wedge sandal, pumps are not to be left on the side. Whether you wear them on special occasions or wear them often for work, pumps is a timeless item to have in your wardrobe. I mean how popular are the nude red bottoms? They will continue to be a total classic item women love. I recommend playing around with different brands and heel size to find the one you truly love.

Boxy Bag
Ever seen a box style bag that are priced for like $30 but it looks like its worth way more? Thats my secret guys! Boxy bags tends to have a shape that will make you believe it’s worth much more. They also tend to have a great amount of space and makes life so much easier to store them without fear that they will loose their shape.

What is your timeless classic that will never go out of style?
Happy Friday friends!! I have a birthday girl who is turning 11 years old on Monday and I am freaking out a bit. You know when your kid hits a certain age and all of the sudden you realize they really aren’t a baby anymore? Ahhhhhh! I also wanted to take some time and bring some positivity to your life. I know everything with the corona virus is literally causing lots and lots of anxiety to so many of us. I have dealt with anxiety for years guys and know first hand how quickly a situation like this can cause major stress. I am here to also shout some positivity that is highly needed right now. Let’s try to shift our focus on things that truly makes us and our heart happy. I promise you if you look deep, you will find lots of things whether its future plans, our family, our job, children, whatever it is and let’s also focus on that. Focus so much on that, that when you’re keeping up with facts on this viruse it won’t cause panic. Instead is a way on keeping us informed. Life is meant to be lived, it isn’t meant to be anxious. It doesn’t matter if you need this reminder over and over. Lastly, let’s not forget we WILL get pass this!!

Happy happy birthday to your sweet girl, Mel! This outfit is amazing and I love the color of your blazer! I have been on quite a blazer kick lately and have recently added a few new ones to my wardrobe. I agree that we all should have at least one or two that fit perfectly and scream boss lady! And why are white tees so hard to come by? I could use one or two perfect white tees in my closet for spring but I can never find ones that I really love. So basic yet so confusing! Have a great weekend, my friend. Stay healthy and calm!

Great post! Loving the rust colored blazer! The floral dress is so pretty too! I think I need to add a blazer to my wardrobe soon. I was wearing them back in the 90 (my late teen years) but haven’t had one since.
Thanks for sharing and for hosting the linkup!
