It’s crazy that I am already talking about transitional outfits for fall. Can summer last a bit longer? But if your like me, most of my summer shopping is pretty much over unless they are pieces I can transition to fall. And this two piece is speaking right to me! There is no way once September 1st comes, that you’ll see me in pumpkin spice and everything nice kind of outfit. This mama is going to to make the most of her summer wardrobe, because I just can’t give in just yet. I don’t know why, but I find buying spring/summer clothes much easier. And fun! Fall shopping is better when you have some summer inspired pieces in the mix!
I talked about how I feel about small floral prints in my recent stitch fix try on post. I normally don’t like them. I can do bohemian, but full blown boho ain’t really my style and that’s what small floral prints seems like to me. Yet there are always those pieces that put me on to this style regardless of my opinion. When I looked at this two piece floral print my mind was set. I knew I needed this baby in my wardrobe. It has side button details that makes this print more of my taste, adding a bit more of a trendy look. The wide leg silhouette is one I don’t wear enough. I am happy to introduce this baby into my fall wardrobe.
Since it’s still summer I styled this two piece my favorite way with circle sunnies, a straw crossbody bag, and heels. Once fall rolls around you can easily transition this outfit with some booties, a leather jacket and hat.
