Hi loves,
Hope you had an awesome Valentine’s Day with your love ones! Since I’ve become a mother, I have enjoyed Valentine’s Day more. I know most consider this holiday to be about spending time with your significant other, but it’s honestly about all your love one’s, regardless of the relationship you have with them! And of course my favorite Valentine are those little turkeys of mine 🙂
As a fashion lover and blogger, I like to try new trends and see how I can create my own signature style with them. Some work out, some don’t, but that’s the whole point. You rediscover yourself over and over by trying new trends or style of clothing!! I’ve had this boyfriend blazer sitting in my closet for a while. Everytime I would do a closet cleanout, I just couldn’t seem to get rid of it. I’ve tired pairing with various of pieces, but I felt as it overwhelmed me and couldn’t figure out how style it… but I didn’t give up! Being a petite lady… anything with too much shoulder action is too much.
I feel as I’ve been wearing jeans for weeks straight. I’m not sure if its the weather, with snow ever 3 days… It’s just too cold for dresses. These are a favorite of mine, they are high-waist, distressed jeans, which are lined with fabric so you won’t be freezing your butt off! I added a black lace top I feel will add that feminine feel this blazer needs.
I couldn’t do with out some bright color accessories to pair this taupe boyfriend blazer with. Even though my clutch and earrings aren’t the same color (my earrings are bright yellow and clutch is more of a greenish-yellow neon color), I feel they still look good paired together.
Do you guys like the bf blazer trend?
Happy Wednesday,

I love the juxtaposition of the blazer and distressed denim!! And that pop of color is fab!!
So pretty! Love your jeans, love the blazer and LOVE the pop of neon. Great look!

I haven’t worn a BF blazer in a long while but I quite like it as a trend, especially paired with jeans as you did. Girl, there is so much snow there. Where do you live?
Welcome by and join my recent linkup Emily. I miss you on the blog. Come share your beautiful style. Thanks. Ada. =)

Yes! I’m petite too and am always concerned with fabric swallowing me. I like how you put the bright with taupe.
