My Summer Beauty Must Have

Hi loves, 

Being mid summer, I have gather a ton of beauty must haves I’ve been using all season long. I am that girl that loves checking out new beauty finds, even when I already have some that I may love. Is it just me or do you get excited trying out a new foundation? Specially if these products enhance a summer glow! Some are new products I’ve tried this summer and have made my favorite list. Others are products I that are my holy grail products I swear on.

Yes to Ultra Hydrating Coconut Milk Moisturizer

Must have beauty product for sure! I found this products following one of my favorite influencer Erika Batista. She raved about this spray moisturizer and if you’ve seen how good her skin glows, you’ll know my butt was at target adding this to my cart 😉 Usually I love rose water facial spray with its calm effects. Rose water has great skin benefits, so how can I try anything other than that? But guys this coconut spray not only has great skin benefits too… but the smell?! Divine! Gives you the perfect summer glow. 

Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation

Great foundation for summer! I normally am very specific when it comes to my foundation since I have oily combo skin and tend to breakout. I hate when my skin gets all shinny with my foundation after a couple of hours, specially during the summer time.  No one wants to look like a frying pan. I found this Maybelline foundation at Ulta and if I were to admit, didn’t have high hopes on it. And guys, I’ve been wearing this foundation non stop since I got it. It has medium coverage and dries to a satin finish. So it makes my face look glowy without the extra shininess.

 

Tarte Foundcealer

Who knew there is such a thing as a foundation + concealer? This Tarte product came in June Sephora play box and I’ve been using it as a concealer this entire time. I had no idea its a foundcealer, because I had no idea such thing exist. So far as a concealer it has been working perfectly. It isn’t heavy and helps my dark circles without making them look grey, like others I’ve tired in the past. I have to try it as a foundation and if it as good as the concealer it is going to be a game changer. Just one product that works for two… WIN WIN!

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss

Usually I am a lipstick girl, because I can’t stand a gloss that’s super sticky. It’s so annoying and not flattering on the lips. Revlon lipgloss is nothing like that. Super smooth and not sticky at all. Great color payoff on top of it all and only $5! 

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter

It’s summer and I get a little coconut crazy! I want anything and everything coconut. I forgot how much I love this Body Shop Coconut Body Butter! It isn’t crazy oily rather than super moisturizing. It smells delicious and leaves your skin refreshed and glowy. I use it morning and night. Even got the travel size to keep it in my purse. You will smell like a yummy drink for hours 😉

Dove Invisible Dry Spray Deodorant

My job requires me to try different clothes on. And one thing that annoys me the most are deodorant marks on clothes. Ugh! I’ve been a Secret deodorant girl ever since I remember using deodorant. I picked up this Dove Invisible Spray Deodorant to travel with since it fits better in my makeup bag. This Dove deodorant leaves you feeling fresh and odor free all day, but also no deodorant marks!! Yes, girl!

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Finishing Powder

My new powder for the last two months and I don’t know why I didn’t try it sooner. Just like everyone… I always feel like my pores are huge. And with my oily skin, it just makes my pores appear even bigger. Not only do I use It Cosmetics Finishing Powder to set my foundation, but it helps minimize my pores. I didn’t believe this was even be possible until I tried it. It truly does work magic. I’m I almost done with this setting pore and already have a backup, that’s how much I love it!

Kaja Mochi Pop Bouncy Blush

I’ve never even heard of Kaja makeup products until I spotted it at Sephora. At first I thought it was a cream blush which was on my wishlist for summer. I tired applying it with my blush brush and hated. I felt like nothing was showing. This blush was going to be returned, until I tried applying it with my fingers and wow! I have to say YES!! It has more of a stain finish rather than cream. Plus it stays put for hours. Now I need to try their other colors, specially the coral before summer ends.

It’s a 10 Miracle Leave in Conditioner

I use It’s a 10 Miracle Spray almost everyday. Its a great product to protect your hair from heat tools, but I use it to control my frizz when I’m doing braids or a bun. The smell isn’t anything special, but the product is actually magical! 

Becca Glow Silk Highlighter Drops

What’s summer beauty must have without a little glow? I love adding highlighter to my face, even more than bronzing. Love the glow effect I get from using Becca highlighter dropper. If you’ve never used any of Becca’s highlight products you are missing out big time. I usually like the pressed version, but the drops are better for those summer makeup looks. You can add them to your foundation, moisturizer or apply to to your cheek bone using a beauty blender or your finger. I do have to warn you when mixing it with your foundation or moisturizer less is more. Trust me! The first time I mixed them both, I literally looked like a brand new penny LOL! I swear 😉 

Skin Ceuticals UV Defense SPF 50

The last but not least on my summer beauty must have list is sunscreen. Back in my younger days I never wore sunscreen, like ever. Now I have sunspots along with my  freckles which isn’t a cute look. I play no games taking care of my skin now and use sunscreen on my face even during the winter months, sun or no sun. I am allergic to so many sunscreen and on top of that I hate the white face mask it gives. I’ve been using Skin Ceuticals products for years. And their sunscreen is the best of the best. I always take it with me to any tropical vacations we’ve gone to and never burned.
