Hi loves,
What colors come to mind when you think of the holidays? I’m sure the main ones are red and green. Or even metallics. Those colors are great and all, but sometimes its nice walking into your holiday party with a whole different color game. Blush tones have been colors I’ve been loving for a couple of years now. I honestly consider them to be more neutrals. Blush can go be paired with so many color combos and work prefect as a monochromatic look.
Nothing sucks more than walking into your holiday party and looking like everyone else. I’m all about standing out and having a unique sense of style. And if you’re like me and what to change things up a bit this holiday season, try a blush monochromatic outfit! In this monochromatic look I played with different tones of pink; blush and baby pink and added rust and cream to the mix.
Why haven’t I thought of this color combo sooner?!
I am a little obsess with this shaggy jacket (plus its under $35). A great statement piece to add to any look! One key piece to remember when styling a monochromatic look is different texture and materials to look uniform without looking like you’re wearing a uniform… feel me? Shaggy jackets are so in trend right now and I can completely understand why. One, its the prefect add on to any basic look and two it feels like you’re wearing your comfy robe outside your home.
Usually for holiday parties I will go for dresses, thats just the type of girl I am. But you already know about my fascination with tie waist pants over the course of this year (you can check them out here, here, and here). They are so chic and make me feel like a total boss babe. I added a cream bodysuit to have a clean tuck in look and make my waist tie pants stands out more. Gold or even rose gold jewelry looks amazing against this blush color combo. I expressed this with my dainty jewelry and my ring handbag. Since my outfit (specially my saggy jacket) is enough wow factor on this look, small delicate or dainty jewelry went best.
Are you rocking a monochromatic look for your holiday parities this season?
Happy Friday babes! This week has gone by so fast. I’ve had so much going on this week with the boutique and mom life, it doesn’t even feel like the weekend is here. What are your weekend plans? Hopefully I can finish my holiday shopping over the weekend and have all month long to truly enjoy the festive events happening this month. Besides, I don’t want last years Christmas Eve to reoccur again, because last year I finished my holiday shopping on Christmas Eve and spend the entire night wrapping. Getting it together this holiday season!!

That’s a cute shaggy jacket and what a bargain for under $35! Those pants are amazing and love the tie waist detail. I got our holiday cards this week so hopefully I can decide on gifts. My family is hard to shop for so it always takes more time to do than necessary. So I hear you about trying to get things done. We got this, right?! Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead and happy Friday!

How wise of you to choose monochromatic (which I love) and blush! I haven’t seen much in the richer shades that you’ve found–nice job!
