Mesh Top for Date Night + WW Linkup

What a week! I am pooped!! It’s been one of those week that by Tuesday I was wishing it will skip to the weekend. Let’s just say I need a vacation asap!

Mesh tops is going to be a major hit this summer. I have never been into them before, they seem more like lingerie than clothes you wear out. Now designers are creating pieces to incorporate mesh as a statement piece. I picked up this floral mesh tank top a few weeks ago from Target and I thought it would be prefect as a bathing suit cover up. Never did I think I would end up being brave enough to wear it with a bralette! I don’t typically show any mid section unless it’s in a bikini, but I thought what the heck… I can make it work. I love the fact that even this tank is mesh, the floral details doesn’t make it so see through.

Bralette’s are a essential for spring and summer making outfits a little more edgy. I went for a dusty purple, lace bralette to add a pop of color and a pair of LC blue heels. Even though they are two completely different colors, adding throughout makes my look summer ready! I finished my look with these new sunnies I just purchase and I am obsessed!! I remember seeing Dior So Real sunnies and there was no way I could afford them as they are over $500. I don’t take the best care of them, they usually end up at the bottom of my bag getting scratched up. These are under $20 and look fabulous 🙂

This was the outfit I was planning on wearing last weekend for a date night with my hubby which resulted in staying home. Our babysitter had sudden changes in her schedule, so I ended up wearing this sitting on my front porch sipping on some wine. I was a little bummed out since not only are we due for a night out, but I was really looking forward to wearing this outfit. Am I the only one that calls their man letting him know, I picked up a really cute outfit and we need a date night so I can wear it?
