Today I have for you a different type of post; a subscription box service. Lip factory is a monthly makeup subscription box ($22.00/ monthly). When I first heard of this subscription I thought what a nice surprise for me to get a little “gift” send to me in the mail every month. Another thing I love about them is they tend to focus more on lip products, which works best for me because I am a lip products junkie 😉
Lip factory claims everything they send you, is worth way more than the $22.00 you payed for (which I totally agree), they also ship internationally. The type of make up they send varies from drugstore make up to higher end makeup. What I love about Lip Factory compare to the other beauty/makeup subscription, is the fact that all the products they send you are FULL-SIZE products. I like getting full-size products because it gives me a chance to test and see if I even like it. Everyone subscribed will receive the same type of products just different colors.
They tend to ship their boxes towards the end of the month. I got mine on the 24th. Everything comes in a box, very well packaged.
Besides the products they send you, they also send you pamphlet with all the information on their products as well as their prices.
The first thing in my box is a blush by LASplash. The color they gave me is prefect for me; rosy-red. I’m just not a big fan of the sparkle blush, but for summer time I wouldn’t mind it as much. The price on this blush is $15.00
I received a lip gloss also by LASplah. This lip gloss is a shear, glittery red gloss. One big plus is that it’s not sticky. The price on this lip gloss is $9.00.
My favorite thing in this box is the lipstick! I absoulty love the feel and color of this lipstick. It’s the prefect nude for my completion, its a nude-lavender color. This lipstick is by Pink Powder Parlor Lipstick. You also can’t beat the price either, $10.00
Lashes are next. These are a type of lashes you might want to wear for night time, since they are super glamours. These are by Red Cherry #16 (which is a very good and cheap brand I have tired). The price on these babies is $2.50
This month they also send nail polish. As I saw in the pamphlet, there were 3 colors send out. I got the navy. A hardly have any blue nail polish in my collection, but I am curious to try out this brand. It’s by Cult Nails Lacuer for $12.00.
The last and my least favorite item in the box is a eye primer. Don’t get me wrong I love the idea of an eye primer and not have to do touch ups through out they day, but this one didn’t do it for me. It was more waxy and tacky (my preference on eye primers) and my eye shadows felt as if it was sliding off. The brand name is Medusa’s Makeup Stick It Eye Primer and it cost $8.00
I’ve been getting Lip Factory subscription for a little over six months. I have never been disappointed with them. This month box for me was pretty good, found a new favorite lipstick! If you would like to try Lip Factory just click here.
