Hi loves,
Surprise, I hardly own black clothes! I know I am shocking most of you, but black doesn’t really suit me. And black isn’t even a thought personally to wear in the summer, because its hot guys and wearing black might just make me a sweat ball. If I’m wearing something in black, it must be a one of a kind piece. That’s how I wear black! It has to be eye catching, totally different than any piece in my wardrobe or it has hints of bold color. That’s more of my style. So, when I saw this romper my eyes sparkled!
Can this romper be any cuter? I LOVE the lace, the mesh, floral print, the length… all of it! The material in this romper is super light-weight (yet it not see through) and airy. I didn’t feel like it was making me any hotter or as if I was draining in sweat. My floral embroidered romper if the prefect item for all night time events this summer!
Since I was feeling the bright colors in this romper, I accerssiored with yellow. These bold earrings is no joke! They make such a statement I can’t help myself. You’ll be glad to know they are so light weight and easy on your ears. As a girl with small ears, I appreciate finding statement pieces that aren’t dragging your ears down. We can’t forget about my yellow block heel! So comfortable to walk in and a good height. Finished my look with a black embrioired clutch and nude lips 😉 If I were to find more black items like this, it’s a grantee I’ll be rocking black everyday!!
How do you wear black?
Any plans this weekend? We will be heading to grandmas house and hopefully me and the hubby can sneak away to continue celebrating our anniversary. I am one of those crazy people that like celebrating special dates for weeks to come! Besides a night away just us sounds like a plan. In case you missed yesterdays post all about my 10 year marriage and what I’ve learned though out the years, you can check it out here!

This romper is beautiful! I love the print and the trumpet sleeves. I can’t believe it’s another Friday! We have similar plans actually. Our anniversary is on Monday and we are heading to my parents this weekend to visit with them. Hubby and I will sneak away on Sunday and get this party started! Like you I don’t wear a lot of black either. It has to feel special or have a pop of color. Your romper is gorgeous and all the mustard accessories match so well!
I am doing a very special all-skirts week of collaboration posts this week on the blog, come take a peak. =) The new Thursday Moda linkup just went live too! Thanks.
