Hi loves,
Ever put an outfit while you’re in a rush, took a look in the mirror and realized mama is looking kinda frumpy? I get it. Been there, done that! But I am all about tips and tricks when it comes to my style. Unless you have a personal stylist who lives with you and has your outfit already spaced out for you to wear (and if you do, I’m totally jealous), it’s up to us to spice things up. Plus, most of the time the outfit will work… it just needs a couple of tweaks to look more put together.
Here are 4 steps you can incorporate into your daily looks to go from frumpy to put together:

Do Some Type of Tuck
I am a HUGE fan of tucking in your tops. I love how there are so many ways you can go about it too. You can do a front, half or full tuck to look more put together. Personally I stick with either front tuck for an effortless look or full tuck for a cleaner version. This is also important to define your waist for relaxed or oversized tops.

Add an Outerwear Piece
The cooler months are here so its the perfect time to add an outerwear piece to our outfit. Depending on your cozy preference, you can go with lightweight vest to a jacket. Layering create more definition to your outfit. Also, your outfit can go from a basic tee and jeans to a more put together look.

Add a Belt or Waist Tie
Belts don’t get the credit they deserve! A total staple!! They situate your waist like no other specially for a line styles or when your full tuck needs a little something. If you don’t have a belt to go with your outfit, you can totally work a waist tie style with a button down or long sleeve sweater. I do this more during the summer months. Check this post here.

Add Accessories
The no brainer tip! Sometimes all your look needs is a pop of bling or color. From shoes to purses or even the new accessory of 2020, face mask. This is where you can get more creative or more simple. Maybe your outfit needs a pop color with some statement earrings or layered gold necklaces.
What are some tips you can include that can make your outfit go from frumpy to put together?
