Finding My Signature Color + WW Linkup

Hi loves,

Ever since I was little my favorite colors were brown and white. And yes I know, those aren’t typical colors one can say it’s their favorite, but they were always mine (shocker, since I’m all about bright colors). Both are neutral colors and it truly goes with everything. Which goes hand in hand when wearing bright colors, they can be your base. One color I never really gravitate towards was red. Every single time I would wear red, people will mentioned how great red looks on my skin tone, but I never really took it in. This year rolled around and I am staring to realize what people were saying all along! It took this outfit, for me to notice…. wow Mel…. red is your color!! And yes, sometimes I talk to myself 😉 As much as I like rocking an all white outfit or buying every single sandal in brown, I think I have found my signature color! Red does wonder for us olive skin girls, specially if you have dark hair!

My closet welcomed awesome red pieces this season, that I am most definitely incorporating into fall like this top. Off the shoulder plus bell sleeves, ah yes girl! My plan was to wear this top with a white pencil skirt, but like summers in NY we had a pretty chilly and raining week, so jeans it is. I paired this look with my favorite and really old platform floral heels. I never found a pair of platform heels that are comfortable like these… ever! Unfortunately they are 7 years old, but I have linked similar options down below. And to finish my look I added my favorite earrings at the moment and a crochet bag (that I am obsessed with).

A little hair flip never hurt nobody 😉
