Hi loves,
Have you caved into the CBD world? I know there is lots of products that contain CBD for a million different problems, from anxiety to dog treats. I started my CBD journey a while back which not only lead me to finding solutions to problems I was having, but also inspire me to be part of the company (will do a post about this soon). I suffer from anxiety, which I mentioned before and wanted a different approach to handle my issue. After getting great results from using CBD, I was eager to try different products!
I remember the days I would venture through makeup stores and sites looking for makeup products. I wouldn’t even admit to the amount of eyeshadow palettes I own! But it wasn’t until I realize, it really isn’t the makeup that needs to be my focus. It’s all about your skin. Now I walk around beauty stores looking at their latest skin care items. Not only do I want products to help moisturize my skin for a healthy glow, but I want to go in the route of my problems. Age spots, dark circles, oily t-zone, hormonal acne, the list goes on.
I heard so many great stories about CBD beauty products in helping with so many skin concerns I knew this was a product I just had to try. To my surprise there was a ton of different companies and so many products I didn’t even know where to begin. I may not be as picky with my makeup as I am with my skincare. There is no point on me using a certain product if I am not seeing the results I need. Luckily the company I bought my CBD for anxiety has a beauty line for me to try. And here is my honest review.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the older we got, the better our skin got. Like if mother nature saw us taking care of our skin and gave us a bonus of a lifetime of collagen? I mean a girl could dream, right?! Unfortunately, gravity takes over and things don’t stay where they once were. I use this as my night time cream and on days I wear heavy makeup. Doesn’t have that tingly feeling you get with other collagen creams, but still does what’s its meant. I noticed my skin feels tighter and smooth. My favorite part it isn’t heavy at all.

I use to think the most important item in my skincare regimen was a moisturizer. So wrong! The most important item is a serum. Serums is what actually helps your skin within. I always felt a little iffy about serums as most of them created breakouts for me. The good thing about this nighttime serum is that it helps with a lot of skin problems you may have. From acne, sun spots, to blochy skin, all which are some of my concerns. This was actually the first beauty item I tried from this brand and easily fell in love with it. The serum itself is lightweight but does what it needs. A little goes a long way. This in combination with the college cream works wonders!

The one problem I have with moisturizers, specially for daytime is having a t zone by 3 hours after applying it. Who else suffered from what I can a grease pan face? It’s the worst! Nothing sucks like doing your makeup and by the time you get to your destination your face looks like an oily mess. And yes, I know… oily skin means less wrinkles. But guys it isn’t fun during the process! This daytime moisturizer is lightweight enough where you don’t feel like you’re a greasy mess, yet your skin is moisturized! It has contains Vitamin C which helps with age spots and a clearer complexion. The only downfall about it is it doesn’t have SPF, so you will need to add this to your regimen.

A lip balm is a lip balm, but then there are lip balms there are a must. If I were only able to have 2 beauty items, I would pick a lip balm and lotion. I’m that girl that cringes if I feel some type of dryness ANYWHERE! It’s moisturizing, non chalky, and smells yummy. My favorite is the pomegranate scent. Also another downfall is it doesn’t have SPF. I would use it at night or whenever I not in direct sunlight.

As I just mentioned I have bottles of lotion everywhere. Mamas hands need to be smooth at all times. At first I would use it just as needed. But what made this product stand out was its effect on my eczema. I have oily hair, oily skin, but I have dry skin everywhere else… Sounds crazy, I know. For those that suffer from eczema know how uncomfortable and sometimes painful eczema can be, specially during the summer. I tend to get them on my legs and back. Usually I put an actual eczema cream on the areas affect, as that’s the only thing that actually works. Since none of these products minus the lip balm and bath bombs are scented, it’s perfect for sensitive skin. It smooth my eczema and actually helped in getting rid of it.

Infused Synergy Bath Bombs
Usually I am a shower over bath type of girl. Baths are only for days when I feel I can take my time and do a little self care. So whenever I do takes baths, I go all out. A good show on, kids are distracted (a MUST!) and a nice bath bomb to make it special. These bath bombs do just that, it completely relaxes you. They comes in peppermint, lavender, lemongrass, and orange + Ylang Ylang. My favorite scent is peppermint and lavender. The only one I haven’t tried is lemongrass just because citrus scents aren’t really my thing, but its definitely a popular choice.
Have you tired CBD beauty items? Which product has been your favorite?

Skin care is so interesting to me because I find it soooooo confusing. I also struggle with breakouts, although they have gotten better in the past year, but of course they’ve left many marks and scars behind. I’d really like to add collegen and a solid serum but like you find it overwhelming to spend so much and then have many hit and misses. Sounds like you are finding your way through all the information and possibilities.
