Causal Chic Mom Look + WW Linkup

Sometimes us moms need that practical look that is easy to put together. We are busy humans! We need a look that doesn’t require too much thought, since half of the time we don’t even have time to think about things like this. A look you can throw on and go. But just because you need a easy, practical look, doesn’t mean your style should suffer! You still have a unique sense of fashion you tend to gear towards. For me this look requires a cute top, fun jeans, and a pair of slip on sneakers.

Just recently, I noticed I barely own any sweatshirts. To me they were just too casual… like what you wear when you get home and change out of your clothes (you can read more about it here). Now, I’m turning into a sweatshirt hoarder! I picked up this olive lace up sweatshirt for only $13! Yes you read that correctly $13 (also comes in black, ivory, and blush)!! Even though it has lace up details, it actually doesn’t show much where you would have to wear a cami or bralette… best of both worlds 😉 To make this look more chic, I went for my floral embroidered jeans. This was the first pair of jeans I bought that were embroidered. I remember wondering if maybe I was a too old for this trend… ha! I wear them now like no ones business!

If there’s one thing I know is that, as a mother your non-stop. Going from one place to the next and I don’t know about you, but it feels like a workout. So instead of going for my coat, I layered with a vest instead. I finished my look with rose gold accessories and my mom shoes, slip on sneakers!

Any weekend plans? I have a work event tonight and then checking out fifty shades! I am so excited, even though I have to admit, I have no clue where we left off last time. So maybe I should rewatch it tonight so I can be ready with my A-Game! Have a great weekend,
