Hi loves,
A few weeks ago for my birthday me and the hubby decided to go to Boston for the weekend. I grew up in NYC and there’s nothing a weekend in a city won’t fix. I had a great time going away and spending some quality time with my husband. There’s no better feeling then packing your bags and going on a little trip, am I right?
My husband never takes my blog pictures. I guess I never thought he will have much interest in doing it. He completely surprised me and researched all the best places to take photos in Boston. I was so thrilled to explore what this amazing city as to offer and so excited to have my husband be my photographer. I honest can picture myself living there! All the shops, restaurants, the atmosphere… I live for it.
Boston Common
Even though it was crowed the day we went to Boston Common, its HUGE. It feels like nobody’s there. You will have no problem finding the prefect spot to take pictures with no one near you. When we went last month, it felt like we were right in the mix of autumn and summer. The sun was shining and leaves changing everywhere, the best fall foliage ever!
Acorn Street
I wish I can put this street in my pocket, because it has to be the cutest street I’ve ever seen. By the way… I never thought I would consider a street to be cute! When my husband showed me a picture of this place, I knew my outfit had to be on point. I was planning on wearing a skirt, cami, and over the knee boots with heels. Thank god I didn’t, because it would have made it impossible to walk with. It’s a pretty cobblestone road, which means cobblestone and heels… broken ankle for sure. Just so you know, I would consider this location for photos earlier in the day. We went around 4 in the afternoon and it was packed.
Boston Public Garden
The scenery in this place is everything. There’s a bridge, flowers, a pond.. you can’t ask for more.
Louisburg Square
These Brooklyn inspired homes are so adorable, filled with modern charm. The brick made it the prefect backdrop for lifestyle pictures
Other Places to Consider
I love the ideal of a photoshoot weekend, but I also wanted to live in the moment. Besides, it was the whole point for my getaway. Unfortunately I didn’t catch photos in these places, hopefully next time I will. Checkout all these awesome spots you should visit.
Harvard Square
Newburg Street (which also has the best shopping ever!)
Esplanade Charles
South Station
Financial District
It’s been a while since we’ve visit this city. I swear it is prettier than what I remember. If I lived here, you will catch me doing photoshoots everyday!!
What’s your favorite place to take pictures in Boston?
The hubby was my little paparazzi all weekend long, taking pictures every moment he got. He might like the title more than he’ll want to admit. I think I may need to hire him for my photos, hopefully he gives me a discount 😉
