When it comes to activewear I feel most people far into two categories. Category number one, you need a cute outfit to get you motivated to work out! Nothing sucks more than waking up super early knowing you have to put some work in and head to the gym. But there’s something about putting on a cute activewear set on those cold mornings where you rather stay in bed that makes you excited to hit those weights. Then, there’s other people who wear cute activewear to lounge around the house or run errands, but not actually attempt to work out. I most definitely am number 2!

Bringing an activewear collection to our boutique was always a goal we had. Activewear has become a huge part of our wardrobe whether you wear it to workout or not (specially after quarantine). We wanted to bring in a collection with great quality, not sheer and good stretchy. We also wanted to keep a good price point in mind. Seems simple, right? You’ll be surprised at how difficult it is find a brand that meets all these requirements. After many buying trips to market and checking out so many brands, I’m happy to report we finally found an activewear brand we truly love! 

While researching on so many activewear brands I’ve learned a few pointers you need to know when considering investing in a few pieces:

Know the Stretch

The material should be really stretchy. And I mean the good stretch that you don’t have to keep adjusting because you feel they are falling off your waist. Anything with four way stretch is a MUST! This means regardless of what cool yoga pose you do, they won’t rip or be sheer.

Moisture Wicking Material

Moisture wicking material is also another important factor. These fabrics actually pick up moisture (which in this case we are talking about sweat), carries it away from the body and spreads so it can be evaporate outside the fabric.

Support for the Girls

Lastly, you want a sports bra that has great support! We have to keep the girls secure!! Find sports bras that either has adjustable straps or scoop neckline as well as some type of padding.
