Hi loves,
I’m the girl who likes to wear heels. It makes me feel more put together, more confident, and overall like a badass. Once those heels go on… mama is a whole new girl! So sneakers to me were meant for working out or the days I put gym clothes to run errands. I’m sure I am not alone in this. When athleisure style started to become super trending, I wasn’t too interested. Sneakers to me wasn’t an item I even think of styling. Sometimes we have a tendency of only wearing certain pieces for certain occasion. But after seeing athleisure style look so effortlessly chic on bloggers and influencers, I kinda gave in.
One of my favorite reasons I even started following bloggers and influencers was for inspiration. Inspiration on different styles, mixing prints, or seeing how they certain certain pieces. One of my favorite influencers and personal stylist I love following is Tiffany Pinero. She is such a diva with awesome style. She recently did a video on tips to rock an athleisure look. One of my favorite tips she mentioned was wearing sneakers with leather leggings. It looks so trendy and chic, I was all over it and decided to give it a try.
I paired it with a white tee and my sherpa cardigan to keep me cozy. It’s such a relax and stylish look, I am obsessed! I finished it off with another item I never thought I would like, this blush belt bag. If you were to ask me if I would ever wear a belt bag, the answer would immediately be a big no. Belt bags looked cute, but resembles a fanny pack too much. Didn’t think it was my style. I tired this bag just for fun while shopping at Express and was surprised I bought it. Guys, this bag is so convenient. No more carrying my heavy purse to run errands or a trip to the mall. All the important things fit just fine and you’re hands free!!
What does your athleisure winter look consist of? How do you like to style your sneakers for an athleisure look?
This weekend will be a tough one as we say our final goodbyes to our little Marley. How much of a pain in the butt he was, eating every sock he found, driving his older bother Rico (whom has more of an old man vibe) crazy trying to play with him while rico is trying to sleep. Or how much he loved getting into messes like playing with mud right after getting a bath. But he made my children so happy with his crazy personality, I couldn’t thank him enough for that! Please send over all your positive vibes

Julie from This Main Line Life talks all about the importance of doing some decluttering. I agree with her so much. Taking the time to clear ourselves from unnecessary items we have gather over the year is huge. Plus, isn’t her yellow sweater just the cutest?! Make sure you stop by and say hi 😉
