Hi loves,
The burning question on my mind is, “are raxi dresses still a trend?” And well, the answer is much deeper than that. When it comes to fashion, trends come and go, then they make a reappearance. Just like skinny jeans. I remember how awkward I felt wearing my first pair after rocking bootcut style for so long. I thought they were ugly. And now that I have become obsessed, bootcut jeans are back with a different name.

So to answer my own question the answer is yes! Not only because I still see this trend everywhere, but also because they makes me feel good. Actually they makes me feel like a badass 😉 It’s the walking that makes this style so dramatic. Raxi dresses has the best of both worlds, romper and a maxi skirt. Both are so comfortable to wear during the summer. They are also so stylish.
We sometimes get caught up on what’s “in trend”, that we sort of forget what we feel good in! There are some styles of clothing that just changes my mood. I go from feeling stressed juggling it all to feeling like a boss babe handling it all. See the difference? And this mindset comes from how I feel about my outfit. So if putting this little number on makes me feel like I’m conquering my world, guess what? Whether it’s still considered trending or not, mama is going to own it!!

The leaf print on the raxi is so summer ready. My obsession with palm print is real! Loving the pops of red and blue!! And of course detail police over here, loves the lace up feature in the front. Taking it one step closer to fabulous. There are so many ways to style this raxi, but I added my favorite blush wedges at the moment and red statement earrings to make this dress pop even further.

Do you think raxi’s are still a trend? Do you own any?

Happy Friday loves. I’ve had a pretty hectic week. Kids are finally done with school for the summer and my oldest graduated from middle school. Guys, I actually have a high schooler now! How crazy is that?! But after a long week of playing a million roles a day, this girl is going on a work girls weekend! We have a brunch of new inventory and need to take pictures. What better background than a pool side? Besides its a work and play kinda weekend. Do I hear pina coladas calling me? Enjoy the weekend,

I’ve never tried the romper/maxi but I do still see them around. You look fabulous in it. Thanks for the shout out.
They are seriously best of both worlds! You have to give it a try 😉

Aw, Mel, I love your take on trends! And this dress looks so amazing on you! I agree…if something makes you feel great, keep wearing it. Who cares if social media or whatever is calling it a trend or not!

Anything that you look *that* good in will never go out of style! Haha! My body could *not* pull off a romper, so I will have to appreciate those outfits on you ladies who can!
Absolutely true Kimberley! That’s how we should all think more often

I so agree with you! It’s all about what you feel confident in that counts no matter what trends are trending! I have not tried a raxi but I love that it has the best of both worlds – comfort of a romper and elegance of a maxi. You totally look like a boss babe and those earrings are so fun!

I love this romper maxi dress Mel! I was given one many years ago and gave it away, and I really regret it now! It would be classed as vintage!
