Hi loves,

The holidays are literally around the corner? Is it me or has this year flown right by? Don’t get me wrong, this year has been difficult to say the least, but hallmark Christmas movies has already been playing in my household 😉
Let’s get down to it, what does pink Friday even mean? It’s basically a mimic of Black Friday. The only difference is instead of shopping at big stores like target, you shop local on pink Friday which is Nov 20th. As a small business owner myself, I understand what it means shopping local. This isn’t to knock big box stores down (I basically live at target), but it’s for us not to forget about those mom and pops businesses. These small businesses is what makes our communities. This pandemic has done major damage in so many aspects, including small businesses. I personally have seen so many shut down completely which is so heartbreaking. It takes a lot to open a business and I mean a lot, from finance to sweat & tears.

Why you should shop pink Friday
Our Money Goes Right Back Into Our Communities
Not only do we pay local taxes, but we also spend our money locally! Our money goes right back into the community. From the local food market to our kids T-Ball team.
You’re Helping Someone’s Dream
When I hear customers say they want to support us, it truly makes my day! The fact that they want to support my dream, gives me all those warm feelings in my belly 😉 By shopping local, you’re helping achieve someone’s dream! You’re all part that process!!

Great Customer Service
We strive on customer service because we want you to feel right at home! Not only do we want to offer you great customer service, but we train our employees to the same. Every person who walks through my doors get the same respect and attention. Why? Because you actually mean more to us than what we are selling.
We Provide Local Jobs
One huge advantage of small businesses is they bring job opportunities to the community!

Unique Product
Let’s put it like this, each autumn I visit my local apple orchard about 5 times. Why? Because I love their cider donuts. Can I find cider donuts anywhere? Yes, but not like Bowman Orchards. Small businesses thrive in unique items you don’t see everywhere or with better quality. Most small businesses shop for their inventory themselves. They research to provide their customers with unique, great quality products!
Provide Expertise
This is what we do. We know are stuff because we eat, sleep, and live it! For example I know what pair of jeans will work for that mom who isn’t comfortable in her new body before she even knows. We know our sh*t
I encourage you this holiday season to support pink Friday and shop your local businesses! Small businesses need your support more than ever. And if maybe you can’t support them financially, support them by sharing & commenting on their social media and telling your friends about them.
Will you be shopping Pink Friday?

I will be making more of an effort to shop locally this Christmas, the small independent shops need an extra boost after being closed for so long due to Covid. Amazon will not be getting a penny from me!
