Hi loves,
Recently I did a post about why I introduced CBD into my life a couple weeks ago. I went in detailed as to why I started taking CBD, but never went in detailed as to what I take. CBD is a personalized product, meaning depending on what you’re trying to improve determines what type of CBD you should take and how much. That is the most important aspect when it comes to trying CBD along with being consistent.
Finding the Right Product
I introduced CBD to help with my anxiety. Anxiety that I always had, but the older I got, the more I experienced it. When my doctor suggested I should look into CBD, he recommended I going to a specialized store. This is major! Not only are you going to need help figuring out what type of CBD you need, but you need to speak to someone who is knowledgeable in this field. Scheduling a consultation can be done in store or over the phone. Explain to them what you need help with and what you would like to achieve with CBD. If you go to an actual store front, ask for samples and go from there.
My Daily Regiment
I take 1 full dropper of 600mg full spectrum water soluble each morning before I get my day started. This type of CBD needs to be mixed with a water base liquid. Since I am not a coffee drinker, I mix it with either plain water or seltzer. All you need is an ounce of water to mix it. At night I take a full dropper of 300mg full spectrum water soluble. These water soluble come in different flavors, my personal favorite is pina colada or strawberry & lime.
CBD for PMS
Another thing that change in my body after becoming a mother was PMS. Before I never suffered from cramps, motherhood not only introduced those dreading cramps, but also upset stomach, bloating, the whole nine yards. I started talking their Maxine & Morgan products in June and have loved it since. There are two formulas; lite or regular strength, depending on what you feel your body needs more during your cycle. Not only is it all natural (contains CBD, ginger & turmeric), but all you need is one capsule a day.
CBD Facts
How I’ve Felt Since Taking CBD?
Like myself! The true me!! I feel more content, like I can actually think without my brain going at 100mph. I also feel like I can concentrate better. Read more about it here.
Does it Have THC?
Water soluble comes in two forms, full spectrum and broad spectrum. Full spectrum is the one I take which contains 0.3% THC which is the legal amount in all 50 states.
Is it Legal?
It would be silly for me to talk about illegal stuff. CBD is legal in all 50 states!
Does it Make You Feel High?
Nope! It’s impossible to get high off it. Like you can literally drink the entire bottle and still not get high from it.
Would it Appear on a Drug Test?
Unfortunately, there is not actual right answer for this one. It all depends on how your body’s metabolism. But if you’re concern, you can always go for the broad spectrum which has 0 THC.
What Does it Taste Like?
To me it kinda taste like tea, but since there is so many different flavors you can figure out which one you like best. Plus, it also depends what you mix it with. My go to is either pina colada or strawberry lime.
How Long Until You Feel Results?
The water soluble can be felt within a few minutes after taking it. But how long it takes to see an overall improvement? For me it was a few weeks (again this is from being consistent). This is when I realized how more collective I’ve been since taking it.
Can it be mixed with food or drinks?
The water soluble can be mixed with drinks. Sometimes I mix it with smoothies or acai bowls instead of water. There is a CBD flower that can be added or mix into food. I’ve made banana & blueberry muffins with this flower and it doesn’t alter the taste which is a plus!
Negative Side Effects?
Personally I had no negative side effects.
Prior to CBD I lived with everyday anxiety for about 7ish years. Before that I think I was around 8 years old when I remember having anxious feelings. And guys that is a LONG time. I almost got used to living with anxiety, I thought it was normal. Wish I can go back a few years and talk to myself about the importance of seeking help. It doesn’t make you any less or crazy, it makes you human! A closed friend of mine once told me “good moms take care of themselves first in order to be able to take care of her kids”. A daily reminder we need!
I loved what it did for me so much, the hubby and I decided to opened up our own CBD store. If I can be part of helping a mom who struggles with anxiety, like me, it will truly make my heart so happy!

Mel, I am so happy that CBD products are helping with your anxiety. I think I mentioned before that I have been using medical marijuana for years to assist with my anxiety and mood disorders. I have tried CBD products but I think my body is so used to the THC that I didn’t get any results. But I did just discover THC oils which I love. They do make you feel a little bit high, but nothing like smoking does. It gives a nice consistent even relaxing feel all day long. One dropper full will last me all day as well. I am so happy that all of the benefits of CBD and THC are becoming more widely accepted. Thanks for linking with me.
