Hi loves,
Isn’t crazy to already be talking about the holidays? Weather you’re ready or not, its approaching us. My favorite part about the holidays is traveling to see my loved ones. There’s nothing like a weekend away from home ready to encounter family time, great food, and yummy drinks! Can’t wait!!
Before when I would travel, my mind will be so crazy, the last thing on my mind was how I looked. I will do a 5 min outfit change from pjs to an outfit that most likely include yoga pants, a random tee and whatever shoes were by the door. Basically a hot mess. Did I match? Nope. Was my outfit choice practical? No. Did it even describe who I am as a person? Absolutely not. I felt horrible and just rushed, when most likely I’m traveling for some time off. But this has changed. Traveling doesn’t always have to feel like this. Plan your look ahead of time, so when the day comes, what you’re wearing isn’t something you’ll worry about. I always believe your outfit can actually change your confidence and even how you will feel about your day.
Here are some items you may want to keep in mind when planning your holiday travel outfit
One Piece
Instead of going for yoga pants and a tee, go for a cozy one piece jumpsuit. Still gives you that cozy and comfortable vibes we all want when traveling and you still look cute!
Scarfs
Blanket scarfs is an item most of us gravitates towards for fall and winter to keep you warm. I also like to use mine when traveling as a layering item and as a blanket. Whether I’m traveling in a car or plane, its a guarantee I will be cold. Wearing an item I can use as a blanket is ideal!
Jackets Instead of Coats
I hate wearing coats. And I mean I HATE it! I always feel like a overstuff marshmallow if thats even a thing. When traveling I always go for jackets instead of coats. Easy to travel with, easy to move around with.
Sneakers or Low Heel Shoes
You either going to be doing lots of walking around the airport or sitting for hours until your destination. Being comfortable is a must! I still like to look polish, so I went for these cute and comfy leopard slip on sneakers. Plus, they are under $25!
A Tote Bag
I need more space in my purse when traveling, because somehow I end up with everyones crap being stuff in my bag. My everyday purse isn’t going to cut it. I love a simple tote that is big enough for everything we need, but doesn’t overwhelm my frame.
What are you wearing to travel this holiday season?

Great advise. I should wear more comfortable clothing – I always wear jeans or chinos – when joggers are so much more cosy. xx
