Hi loves,
The holiday season is finally staring to feel real to me. With checking off my holiday gift shopping list, building gingerbread houses, and thinking of all the glam looks to wear this season. I know there are a ton of holiday parties in everyones list and I decided to give you some outfit inspiration. Because honestly, that’s part of the fun. Depending on what type of party you’re attending this year, I promise to keep you comfortable and glam all in one!

Hello red dress! Red is the “it” color of the season, but make sure you have a piece that stands out. The last thing you want is to wear a dress that looks like the other 3 red dresses in the party. Statement shoulders are biggest trend for the holiday season! I can see myself still wearing this dress all winter long and even going into spring. Style this dress with black accessories and simple gold hoops.

Velvet brings all the holiday cheer! Instead of typical red or green velvet styles, I decided to go for a deep blue dress. This dress feels so good on and unlike many velvet dresses, it doesn’t show all the bumps we would prefer to keep hidden. The added bling on the side makes this dress even more special. Typically I don’t wear stockings, even during the winter months. Its silly, but I rather be cold. Still, I wanted to create a holiday look with stocking for those babes that loves wearing them. With this shade of blue, black stockings can definitely be an option. Completed my look with metallic pumps and drop down earrings.

This look is comfy meets holiday parties! I had to come up with a look that isn’t traditional at all. Also, one that is completely comfortable. Just because you opt for a comfy look, doesn’t mean your style should be affected. This multi color leopard satin jumpsuit is a relax fit to keep those laidback vibes, but still can be dressed up. I styled this jumpsuit with my favorite blazer at the moment and slouchy booties. You can also add a statement belt to break up the print a bit. Finalized this look with gold hoops and layered necklaces.

What are you wearing to your next holiday party? Are you more into traditional looks? Which look is your favorite?
Happy Friday! We are less than two weeks away from christmas and this mama is starting to feel the pressure. Which I know is silly… why do we put this insane amount of pressure on ourselves? Our kids will literally be okay with what we give them. Trying to take a more relaxed approached this weekend while finishing my holiday shopping. What are your weekend plans?

A girl who takes risk and comes up with non traditional holiday looks is my kind of girl 😉 Karen from Lady in Violet is our feature blogger this week. Make sure to stop by and say hi!

All three of these outfits are so cute and festive! It’s hard to pick a favorite but if I had to, it would be that jumpsuit! Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks for the link up!
Mel, I love it all! I am all about red this season so I am swooning over your red dress. But I do love velvet this time of year, too. And that blue velvet dress is spectacular! All so good. Happy holidays, my friend!

I’m crazy about that jumpsuit! I think the fun shortened legs with slouchy boots are what make it so fun! Gah! Now, I need a pair of slouchy boots!
Such fun diverse outfits: something for every one. I am going with a grey silver outfit this year by shopping my closet. I do want to add some red soon though, maybe I will find something fun on sale after the holidays!
