Wearing a Tube Top in Your 30’s

I will flat out say it, I HATE giving clothes an age limit! I turly do!! I’ve always hated when people say I’m too old, too young to wear blank. I remember as I child hearing my mom say “oh I can’t wear a skirt like that at this age” and my answer was “yes you can”. Even though I knew nothing about fashion then, I did know skirts don’t have an age limit. Today I still feel the same way. Its all about your personal style. I know some women in their 50’s rocking mini skirts and they look fabulous. I know some women in their 30 rocking a midi skirt and they also look fabulous. 

So during my amazon shopping haul, I made a purchase I sort of wasn’t feeling too confident in making, because I’m in my 30s. When was the last time you wore I tube top? I honestly can’t remember when was my last time, probably in my late teen years when my parents finally let me wear one. And that was many moons ago. So here I am staring at this smocked, front button tube top wondering if being in your 30s was too late to pull it off. I swear I looked at it thinking “I don’t know. I’m too old probably.” I even told myself “maybe it’s too small and won’t fit”. 

The moment I tired it on, I laughed at my thoughts. I am a very confident person with it comes to dressing my body. I know what works and if it doesn’t work I figure out ways to make it work. I don’t just give up. And even when your confident is high, there are times you question shit. I gave myself a good look in the mirror like what the heck was I thinking? Not only did I score a good price on this tube top two piece (tongue twister for sure) but it looked awesome on! It looked as cute on as it would have when I was 17 years old. 

This two piece comes with a matching high waist, wide leg pants that I am loving. I’ve been talking a lot about this style lately, because I kinda rediscover them again. Giving me legs for days! The linen material makes this two piece set nice and breathable. Plus, it barely gets wrinkle as the day goes on.
