What To Wear To FAME + WW Linkup

Happy Friday!! This has been a long week for me and I mean longgg! I can’t be any happier the weekend is finally here. I’ve been so busy and while trying to mange everything, have a sick kid at home. I am pretty sure all you mamas out there can relate to those days that you have to manage everything, while having just a couple of hours of sleep… exhausted to the max.

Two weeks ago I attend the FAME show in NYC to look at the latest fashion trends for spring and summer. For those not aware of FAME, its basically the show to attend as a boutique owner. Boutique designers bring their current fashion line (for spring and summer). It is a must! The designers have their sample pieces for the season. You’re able to see first hand what designer is show-casting what and this is a great opportunity to takes notes on all your buys. It’s my second year attending and by now I have a couple of tips to survive the show and what to wear to FAME.

First it’s hot… there is a ton of people, your on your feet all day. I remember my first time attending, I was dressed in heavy layers with booties that weren’t ideal to be on your feet all day long. This time around I was completely prepared. I was dressed in light clothing with a 2in heel bootie. I opt out of carrying my everyday purse and choose a crossbody bag, with only key essentials (wallet, keys, chapstick, etc) and a notebook for notes.

This criss-cross, deep V tee was light and cool. I added a bralette to this look to give it a trendy look. It was a tee and ripped jeans kinda day. I also kept my jewelry to a minimal with studs, a bracelet and some stackable rings.
