Hi loves
I talk a lot about personal style here and loving items because of how they make you feel when you wear it regardless of the price tag, if its a well known brand or if its actually on trend! My rule is, always wear what makes you feel good about yourself. What happens when you find an item you love and its super trendy? You wear it non stop!! While making our summer buys for our store, I couldn’t resist not adding this beautiful stripe and floral off the shoulder dress. Floral mixed with other prints are huge this season, I’ve seen them with stripes and even with gingham. Its the prefect dress when your new to mixing prints! There’s so much going on with this dress (in a good way) that I am not sure what part I love more!!
You know those off the shoulder pieces that are super annoying? It doesn’t stay put and you find yourself consistently bringing back down to where it should be.. ugh, no one has time for that. This off the shoulder dress stays put since it has more heart shape neckline. The ruffles in the sleeve gives this dress a flirty appeal. Plus, it has pockets and you know how much we all love a good dress with pockets… am I right?
Keeping the rest of my look really basic, because I want this dress to be my statement piece. But wasn’t too sure which shoe to wear with this look. I was thinking of strappy heels, but decided to go with wedges instead. I sort of have a love – hate relationship with wedges. I truly love them, but feel like they can be difficult to walk in. I feel like Bambi walking for the first time lol 😉 I picked up these wedges last month and I have to say they are comfiest wedges sandal on earth. I wore this exact look on a lunch date, which ended with us strolling around town. Let’s just say it was a good decision going with these wedges!
I finished my look with some fun sunnies, that seriously goes so well with this dress. I also added straw bag and a simple bracelet!
Do you like mixing prints? Have you ever gone for stripes and floral?
So we finally have real spring weather guys! It only took mother nature till mid April to finally stop torturing us 😉 It felt so good finally being able to pack away my winter coat!!

Such a pretty dress. I love that it is off the shoulder. I adore the tote bag – it goes perfectly with it! x
I am totally loving off the shoulder outfits this spring, and this dress is adorable!
This is a beautiful OTS dress and the sleeves on these are just so pretty! Love that the dress is a true statement piece and stand alone on it’s own. Most of all I love pockets and any dresses with pockets are a win in my book!
