The Pants That Are Date Night Approved

My pants section in my closet is the smallest space. Most pants I own are jeans, utility pants and leggings. I don’t own many trousers/pants, because the truth is I don’t need them in my wardrobe. I don’t work at an office setting, nor do I have a certain work attire I have to wear that require trousers. There is just no need for them with my lifestyle. But the moment I spotted these pants, all thoughts went out the window. Office attire or not, I knew I needed to have these!

Paper bag pants are such a huge trend right now and I’m obsessed with them (checkout the white pair I own). They instantly make office wear a bit glam, having you look like a total boss babe. Instead of styling these olive pants with your typical button down, I changed the senary and went with a crochet top for date night. It’s more my style. And definitely goes with the occasion.

The temps are dropping rapidly (even though as I’m typing this its 80 degrees outside) so outerwear is a must. Originally, I thought of wearing my denim jacket that I’ve been wearing non stop, but my little fashionista thought this boyfriend blazer works better. I have to agree with her all the way. At nine years old, she’s already taking after her mama 😉

I’ve been dying to wear my leopard heels since the day they came in the mail! These heels are so comfortable and trending right now, I’m tying to get the most use out of them before the cold weather hits. They glam up any look easily and are pretty comfortable for heels. So prefect for a night out! I opt out of wearing statement earrings, which is crazy. I love a good statement earring, specially for date night. This was the type of outfit that doesn’t need much. I kept it simple with a long necklace and a classic bag.
