Hi loves,
It’s been a long time since I’ve been back. I went through some tough times, I shared all about it on my instagram. But it’s time to get back to my little space that I love so much. Not only for myself, but for him too. I know it’s what he would have want me to do. I have missed sharing my outfits, missed talking to you guys, interacting, sharing deals, my favorite pieces, about my everyday life. I missed it all. Mom with Style is a big part of life. The moment I created this space, it was a moment in my life when I need this more than what you needed it for inspiration. And I’m right back at needing it. Maybe it will help me heal. Maybe it will help me grow.
In these months of my absence, so much has happen. Good stuff. I am also excited to share all the good things happening in my life right now, including my new store location. In the mix of one of the hardest moments in life, so many good was happening too. So I have a lot of post planned out ready to let you know all about it. So get ready momma is slowly but surly getting back to things.
Now into this fashion post.

Skirts are usually not my thing. Its probably the least item I own in my closet.I just don’t care too much for them. I prefer dresses and jeans over skirts. But every now and then I become obsessive with certain pieces like this copper button wrap skirt. I can’t tell you enough how much I love this skirt. The color is so bold yet easy on the eye. It isn’t one of those, “in your face color”. But besides the beautiful color, trendy buttons, or even the adorable wrap style, my favorite part about this skirt the potential it has. You can maximize this copper skirt so many different ways for so many occasions this season. From an easy travel look with flat sandals, a tee, and fedora hat. You can dress it up with an off the shoulder bodysuit, crop jacket, and your favorite strappy heels. See where I am going here? This was one of my must have pieces to bring into the store that I knew other people will love just as much as I do. It an easy skirt to wear, period.

I create an easy date night look with this skirt. And you may look at these pics and think I must be crazy to say this is an easy look, but I promise it is. All I did was add a basic tee bodysuit, a denim jacket (this one is last season, but checkout a similar one down below), and my favorite blush heels… all done 😉

This entire look minus the heels and bag are all from our new spring/summer collection at Bella V. I defintiely need to share a post about my new location as well as our new branding look. I am hoping to have it ready for you later on this month. Wait until you see it!
What is one piece you will be maximizing this season?
Happy Fridays my friends. Our Weekend Wear Linkup is back. Please link your recent post and don’t forget to mingle your way around. Enjoy your weekend,

Mel, it is so good to see you back! I have been thinking about you lots and sending lots of healing prayers your way. I have been using my blog space so much lately as an outlet and a resource for community support as I navigate my way through some tough times. It is always good to share. And these spaces we have created for ourselves are so great for so many things. I am loving this skirt on you and the color is brilliant! I look forward to seeing what lies ahead for you. And again, I am so glad that you are back at it and getting your feet back under you. Love you, my friend!

Welcome back! I’ve missed the Instagram updates, but I’m sorry you’ve been having a rough time. I love the silhouette of the long skirt. I don’t have hardly any skirts in my closet either.
Thanks for your sweet words! The silhouette is everything

I’m glad your life is getting back on track. I adore this outfit. I love skirts, but don’t have one like this. I may emulate this look with wide-legged cropped pants I have in this color. Take care!
Oh I can just imagine how fabulous those wide leg pants must be! Now I need a pair too
