The Bubble Sleeve Sweater I Didn’t Think I’ll Love

This happens to all of us, we spot an item and think “nah, I’ll pass” or “it isn’t my style”. This mustard bubble sleeve oversized sweater we brought in for the store was one of them. I liked the style. I knew it was a sweater my customers would love even if I didn’t care too much for it, personally. It’s a super trendy sweater with the bubble sleeves, the color is cute and all, but it just was that. We try on everything that comes in the store to determine how sizing is going to work for that specific item. We determine the fit and what body type can benefit from it. And to my surprised I immediately fell in love. Here I was thinking this statement sleeve oversized sweater was just going to overwhelm my frame. Crazy, I know! Sometimes I have to remember the advice I give customers, you can’t judge how it looks on the hanger until you try it on for yourself!

My winter wardrobe seems to consist of basic colors right now. I’m not even sure how this girl who loves color has a winter wardrobe that consist of white, tape, olive and some black. A color like mustard is the perfect item to brighten my wardrobe up. Originally I was going to pair this sweater with dark was jeans and brown boots. I decided to work some magic and incorporate white and some animal print to the mix.

What started as a sweater I wasn’t feeling too much, ended up being one of my favorite items in my winter wardrobe!
