Hope you guys had a beautiful weekend! We definitely spend most of our weekend outdoors, loving this gorgeous weather and eating everything we shouldn’t 😉
I usually apply some type of coverage on the daily basis, whether it’s a CC cream, tinted moisturizer, or just foundation.. I feel like I need the coverage. But in all honesty, when it’s 90 degrees outside who the heck whats to have a full face done? Your literally melting off and its just a waste of time and money applying products that will melt away within a few hours!
If you see my makeup drawer you will honestly think I belong in the next episode of hoarders with the amount of foundation I buy 🙂 🙂 I just like trying different types to see what works and what doesn’t. Finding one that can sustain the heat, wasn’t so easy, but I think I have master my summer foundation must have!
Urban Decay never lets me down! Their weightless foundation gives you a light coverage, but can be buildable to the coverage you desire. I find it works better when used with a brush rather than a sponge because you can get more coverage. Plus, it does a great job in even out your skin tone!
Okay.. this is seriously good stuff!! I have never ever tired a CC or BB cream that gave me coverage like this baby! EVERRRR! This is usually my go to every summer and I absolutely love it. I take it with me every time I go on vacation or I use it on days where I don’t have too much time to get dolled up. No brushes or sponges needed, put it on your hands and blend it on your face… DONE!
Revlon is my favorite drugstore brand. Coverage is great specially for the price. I like to wear this foundation for summer nights since coverage last a good 5 hours.
At first I did not like Laura Mercier Moisture foundation. To me it felt too heavy, caky, an oily mess and not the easiest to blend. It was on my return pile until I gave it one more try and used it with my beauty blender, rather than my Sigma angled kabuki brush. Applying with a wet beauty blender leaves a smooth finish that last without being oily.
A friend recommended this foundation to me and it took me a while before I actually bought it. I couldn’t accept that I was buying a foundation that cost more than $50! But guys… worth every single penny!! This is hands down the best flawless foundation I have yet to try.
