This past spring, I raved about how much I was loving mesh trend! Its edgy, sexy… but it can be very intimidating. Its basically see through! We all have those areas we don’t really like to show. Maybe you feel like this trend shows too much. Others may see mesh to be a trend only young girls rock. But babes, I’m here to give you some tips and in no time you’ll be styling mesh like a pro! Taking this trend from intimidating to stunning!!
Different Mesh Styles
First, how much are you willing to show? Mesh tops are can range from showing only your arms to basically everything. Its all about your comfort level. I went with this black cami mesh bodysuit. I feel comfortable with the fact that it already comes with a cami, therefore I am hiding the area (my stomach) that I am just not too comfortable showing.
Color has a lot to do with how much a mesh top can be see transparent. This black mesh bodysuit I am wearing tends to show more skin than a white one would. Try different colors to see what goes best with your style and skin tone.
I always stress the importance of details! Lucky this top comes with a hit of details with the added stripes. The more details your mesh top has the less see through it is.
This is probably my favorite! You can add layers to to play around with how much skin you want to show. You can go with a bralette, cami, tank. You can also add outer layers to cover it up a bit. I went for a suede vest (not online, identical here). I like the added texture and the fact that it creates a nice figure for you.
I always like going for high-waist jeans or skirts. This makes you look more leaner and also covers areas you may not want to show off if your like me. I went with high-waist white skinny jeans, no surprise there 😉
Do you guys have any tips of styling a mesh top?
Hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend! We had a great thanksgiving, we ate and drank a bit too much. After that, I pretty much spend the whole weekend laying on the couch. My plan was to do some work in between stuff… but the couch seemed like a better idea. Which its fine, because sometimes it good to have a break and live in the moment!
Hope you have a great weekend!!
