Hi loves,
I know many that love stripes, I am one of those girls. Then, there are some that absoulety hate it. They feel it doesn’t flatter their figure, if anything it makes them look wider, bigger or maybe it cuts you off weird. Some only go for horizontal, others for vertical. This is completely true. The trick is it’s all about how the stripes lay on your body!
From the moment we received this dress for our shop, it has been a killer. This stripe dress has looked good on so many different body types, from petite girls like me to curvy girls. The colors isn’t usually what I would wear altogether, yet I love it. Compliments my skin tone giving it a nice glow. Wrap style has been trending all year long. There isn’t a body type that can’t rock it! Wrap dresses creates an illusion of a smaller waist and who doesn’t want that?! I also appreciate the length and different styles with the stripes in this dress. It isn’t your typical straight across or up and down, flattering any body shape!
I had fun with the colors in this dress and decided to style it with yellow accessories! Even though I am not looking forward to fall (summer is my fav), I honestly cannot wait to rock this dress again next season. Add a pair open toe booties, a moto jacket and you’re good to go!!
How do you wear stripes?
Happy Friday! Any weekend plans? Hopefully there weather is dry this weekend since its been raining pretty much all week. We are planning on taking a trip to the adirondacks and going tubing. Typically I am not one to be that adventours. I love being near the water but to relax. But I’m actually a little excited to go. Isn’t it crazy doing things you normally wouldn’t do, but seeing your kids having a blast changes your perception? Have a great weekend,

I love stripes and the colorful the better! This dress is beautiful. I can see why it has been a killer! It’s totally a show stopper and love how you added more fun colors by adding bright accessories! Hubby is off for a business trip today so it’s just me and the kiddo. We haven’t decided if we’ll get out of town to go outside but I do know we will bake muffins for my dad! It’s his birthday on Sunday and baking is something my son wants to do for him! Happy Weekend!
