Oh, Stitch Fix is literally the best invention ever. As a working mama, most of my shopping is done online, even my groceries… don’t judge 😉 There just isn’t enough time in the day, right? As much as I enjoy picking out items to add to my wardrobe, there is nothing like someone else doing it for me. Plus, surprises are my favorites!
I’m sure everyone and their mother know about stitch fix but it case you’re uncertain it’s a clothing subscription box. You can choose from women, men and even children clothing. You fill out a survey online detailing your style, sizes, what you like or dislike. How often you receive a fix, is totally up to you. You can get them monthly, every two weeks, quarterly. You pay a $20 styling upfront that can be used towards your purchase. A stylist will then pick 5 items depending on your profile. Once you receive your fix, you have a couple of days to try on and decide what you’ll like to keep and send everything you didn’t like back in a prepaid shipping bag. It’s that simple, my friends!
One of my favorite things about stitch fix is that you can choose what color, prints, even what fabric that you like or choose to refrain from receiving. There are some colors and prints I simply have no interest in receiving. Also, you can be as detailed as you may wish with your stylist. Have something special coming up? No worries, you can simply let your stylist know. My sister who is also a stitch fix lover, makes fun of my notes to my stylist. Listen, I know what I like… nothing wrong with that 😉
Street Level – Maxi Convertible Backpack
I am not backpack type of girl. I don’t see them as a substitute of a handbag. Backpacks for me are strictly for traveling or a trip to the amusement park. This backpack will be perfect for traveling. You can fit so much, even your laptop. This maxi convertible backpack is very well made. Looks like suede, but feels more like faux leather. Since I normally don’t use backpacks not sure if it will be smart of me to keep it. Besides what’s fun in buying pieces just to have them sit in your closet? No bueno!
Just Black – Tatiana Denim Skirt
I’ve been searching for a white denim skirt for about two years. I’ve seen so many I like, but it never fits just right. They either feel uncomfortable to wear or have a big gap in the back. I am a huge fan of Just Black denim. All their denim are so soft and feel like you’re wearing leggings. This white denim skirt is just like that. I appreciate the minimal distress in this skirt. I feel like it looks more clean and can make this skirt easy to dress up or down. It has a raw hem to make it a little unique. Definitely keeping this item for sure!
Liverpool – Betty Chambray Shirt
Denim button downs are a Sumer wardrobe essential, checkout yesterdays post to see why. Currently I have one in my wardrobe in a light denim shade. I am so loving this medium wash chambray top. It’s beyond soft and so well made. I can see myself wearing this season after season. Plus, I am so loving it paired with the white denim skirt!
Collective Concepts – Merry Button Front Maxi Skirt
Floral can be a little tricky for me. I only like certain floral prints. The bolder ones are more my style. This floral skirt has me a little indecisive which is driving me crazy. I love the color, the slit, basically the style, but I’m not sure if its a win win just yet.
THML – Melina Embroidered Dress
Anything embroidered its a fav in my book. The details on this dress is all me. The fit? That’s a whole different story. Unfortunately, this dress just doesn’t work for my body type. Certain shift dresses just cuts my frame, making me look bulky. If it wasn’t for that, I would have totally kept it.
What do you think of my fix? What are your favorites?
