Hi loves,
Who’s up for the snake print trend? Guys I’m totally raising my hand as I’m typing this and doing a little dance! This print is right next to my obsession with leopard. It’s that serious! Snake print made a hit last year. It wasn’t as popular as it is now. Now we are finding them in every piece, belts, shoes, jackets. I first started with my snake print skirt I wore all summer long. And now mama is moving onto other pieces to add to her fall wardrobe.

In a weird way, I don’t find snake print to be too much. It isn’t too bold. If you still haven’t jumped into animal print, I suggest trying snake print. I am so happy I kept this snake print top from my shop. I love the oversize fit of it. Plus, I wish you can feel how soft the material is. The colors are really light as well, which helps this top be a statement item without being too loud.
I created this outfit and was so indecisive on how to finished the look. I knew I wanted to wear this snake print top with my white denim skirt, but wasn’t too sure how to accessories it. If you know me personally you know I can’t stand being indecisive. I need to make a decision quick because I’m instantly over it. I’m the girl who can pick her nail color once I arrive to the nail salon within minutes. Actually one minute is all I need. So this problem was seriously driving me crazy. Both of these looks are just as cute and I can wear this snake print top with either decision.

I can’t remember the last time I wore these lace up boots. I truly love them, but feel like they are a bit scandals. Can you imagine me wearing them just to go run errands? Yet I still can’t give them up. But if I’m keeping something in my closet, mama has to wear it or find reasons to wear them. Now, if we are talking about a night event like date night, then they are appropriately to wear. And to be honest, a scandal item never hurt nobody!! My black duster toned down the edginess of these boots which makes it more my style. I finished my look with my favorite statement earrings of all times and a new belt bag I added to my collection. Rather than wearing it as a true belt bag, I used it as a crossbody bag instead.

For a day time outfit with this snake print top I decided to go for a more feminine look. I kept the white denim skirt and duster, but added different accessories. I fall hat felt like the ideal add on to this look. I bought this hat for a photoshoot I was working on and it was just too cute not to keep for myself. I love how snug it is, because that has been one of my reasons I don’t wear hats often. I completed my look with booties and a box bag.

How would you style this snake print top? Which look is your favorite?
Happy Friday! My family leaves back home today and I’m already missing them. I am definitely going to miss those sweet kisses from my little nugget I’ve been posting on my instagram. I love him to pieces. Any weekend plans? I am diving into my fall wardrobe head on. I have yet to make the actual transition from summer to fall. The weather has already started to really feel like fall here and my closet is filled with shorts and summer dresses. Wish me luck! Have a great weekend friends,

Another babe styling one piece multiple ways! Kellyann from This Blonde’s Shopping Bag has master styling a corduroy skirt to a T. I seriously can’t decide what look I love more. Make sure you stop by and say hi 😉

It’s such a cute top and it look great both ways you’ve worn it! I have more leopard than snakeprint in my wardrobe, I just have one snake print maxi dress, but I’ve been trying to make more of an effort to wear it lately as it is such a popular print!
Thank you for the link up!
Hope that you are having a great week 🙂 I’ve got a scarf giveaway on my blog right now 🙂
I agree, snake print is the more laid back of the animal prints. I like the outfit with that long duster.
You’re talking a lot about snake print, but your shoes are killer! Ha! The only think I don’t like about snake print is it’s too often in black, I’d like to see more brown/gold.
Mel, I think these lace up boots are freaking fantastic! And I would totally run errands in them. Because why the heck not?! I am fully embracing the snakeskin trend myself but I only have a few pieces right now and I am on a spending freeze. But that’s okay. I will wear the pieces I already have! Both ways you have styled this cute top are great.

I don’t have any snakeskin print but I keep eyeing it in the stores. I think that’s going to have to be one of my fall wardrobe purchases. I love that outfit on you and those boots are gorgeous! My favorite outfit, though, is the daytime look with the ankle boots and the duster. That look is just perfect and look amazing on you! I love hats but I just don’t wear them either. I think they draw too much attention to me :/ They always look amazing on everybody else, though.

That top is definitely a great example of how the print can be worn for different occasions. In the bottom outfit it is perfect for a daily look!
Still not sure about the fall hat trend for myself but I do like it on everyone else!

Those boots! I mean, they’re a teeny bit over-the-top but isn’t that what makes fashion fun? I love the hat and booties way of styling this outfit too though!

I’m a big fan of snakeprint, it’s every bit as fabulous as leopard print but more understated. I love how you’ve styled the top both ways – those lace up boots are awesome!
