I can’t believe Christmas Eve is tomorrow! Time is literally flying right by me. I got all my shopping done this week… now the wrapping? I’m pretty sure you know exactly what I will be doing today. When it comes to wrapping gifts, I actually enjoy it…. I suck though… but still enjoy it. I usually take the morning off and wrap presents as I watch the Hallmark channel, it sets the mood 😉
While doing my Christmas shopping earlier, I stop at MAC for a gift and well one thing lead to another and I left with a gift and some goodies for me. And no, I don’t feel guilty buying myself a Christmas gift.. I totally deserve it! First where have I been, that I did not know MAC and Mariah Carey collaborated in a collection? Second, this collection is beautiful!! And I truly mean beautiful, from the color options to the packaging. Unfortunately, everything was sold out expect this lipstick. At first, I thought it might be too brown and dark for my taste, but I am OBSESSED! It’s a frost lip color, which isn’t what I usually go for, but this color looks amazing. Of course I had to plan a makeup look around this lip color.
We usually don’t go out for New Years, I always feel guilty leaving my kids on a holiday, and they don’t ever make it till 12. This year I am learning how to take a break from those thoughts and pushing that #momguilt as side! Me and the hubby are planning on celebrating with some friends and I am excited!! I’m not quite sure what to wear, but my makeup essentials are already planned.
A couple of things to consider for your New Years Eve makeup
- Long Lasting I usually don’t ever re-touch my makeup through out the day, I’m that lazy girl. I like investing in products that can last.
- Bling Bling New Years is the prefect time to show your glitter and not look like a teenager.
