Hi loves,
Shopping for denim is my absolute favorite! Once upon a time it was the worst shopping trip besides swimsuits. Shopping for denim is hard as heck guys! We all have different bodies, for example I am petite and sort of curvy. Sometimes petite styles tends to be smaller all the way around. Small waist and length. But that’s not the case with me. I have somewhat of a butt, small thigh and thick legs. For years I struggle finding the perfect pair only to end up with an okay one just because the shopping was exhausting. Forward to now, jeans is the most item I own in my wardrobe, surprisingly! Now I love trying different brands and style. Once you figure out the right style, it’s game over.

My favorite denim must include a list of must haves. My jeans have to be stretchy, comfortable, and soft. I literally cringe thinking of wearing those jeans that the fabric feels really stiff and hard against your skin. It drives me crazy! I’ve wanted to share this post with you guys since forever, but I feel like I just kept adding to my list! I’m sure this list will continue to grow as I continue to discover new brands. Let’s get right into my favorite denim at the moment.

Cheap Brands
RockStar Jeans
I actually found this line after having my youngest. After giving birth your belly literally becomes a bowl of jelly and I was having a hard time dressing my new body. While shopping for kids clothes at Old Navy and chatting with a sales associate, she suggested I tried their new rockstar jeans. I never really shopped at Old Navy for myself. Always felt they lacked in petite sizes, because everything felt big. But I remember the joy I had when I tired them on, I wanted to hug the sales associate! Rockstar jeans are such great quality for the price. I think my first pair lasted about two years. But for the price, you can’t beat that!
Affordable
Kan Kan Jeans
What was life before these jeans? I love and swear by them so much that I sell them at my boutique. The amount of stretch in these jeans is incredible. And I’m not talking about those stretchy jeans that in two hours of wearing them they have suddenly become baggy jeans from the 90s. I mean good stretch that holds everything in together. Everyone who has tried Kan Kan jeans for the first time has the same “wow” experience as I did. The best part about Kan Kan’s amazing quality jeans is that they are pretty reasonable priced! I have some Kan Kan jeans in my wardrobe for the past 4 years that are still in great condition.
American Eagle Next Level Curvy
American Eagle jeans has always been one of my favorite denim for as long as I can remember. But their new curvy denim line is sooooo good guys. The original jeans are so stretchy, but this curvy line is even better. It hugs your curves guys! It makes their regular jeans seem like nothing. They have three different level of high waist. If you have a longer torso and are looking for the right pair of high waist jeans, you have to check them out.
Express
Express was the first pair of denim jeans I feel in love with. They were the first brand that made me a jean lover! I remember trying on my first pair of express jeans many moons ago and loved them right away. Besides the awesome fit, they always seem to come out with the latest trend in denim. I have an embroidered pair I wear all winter long because they have a thicker (yet still comfortable) fabric. This season, I am so into their new paper bag skinny!
Splurge
Madewell
Oh this brand guys… I wish I would have tried them sooner! I just discover this brand on my latest Trunk Club Box and it was everything I could have asked for! Good stretch, great structure, doesn’t feel heavy on yet keeps everything in place. And guys, no annoying gap in the back! It’s definitely a splurge, but so worth it. I believe in splurging on basic pieces you wear often. Denim should be one of them!
Paige
Where do I begin? I first heard of this brand going to our boutique buying trips and have come very familiarize with their jeans. I have yet to own a pair myself (definitely on my wishlist) and decided to try them on to understand the fit better myself. And I am happy to report they are worth every penny. They are the most expensive item on this list, but the quality is excellent. Very sliming and flattering!
What are some of your favorite pairs of denim? Have you tired any on my list?
I have a feeling this denim list will expand as I keep trying on new brands. Whats next on my list to try? Good American! Another surge item, but for sure on my wishlist. As for an affordable line, I’m looking into Walmart’s Sophia Vergara. I’ve heard great things about these jeans too.

I am a denim lover and love them as well. But like you, I have a tough time with finding the right one. My favorite are from STS Blue but have found others I appreciate like Dollhouse from Macy’s. I would love to own a pair of Madewell jeans as I have heard great things about them so keeping my fingers crossed that it gets crossed off my checklist sooner than later!
