Last year I made a goal to be more active on my social media channels, because I was slacking big time! I decided to start a Instagram roundup as an inspiration to get the job done. It’s been over a year and I can gladly pat myself in the back! I have definitely improve my Instagram game. I can now say I feel more comfortable sharing things with you guys, it kinda has become a norm. Before I would feel a little odd posting pictures of myself, just because I felt silly. But at the end of the day, I want you guys to know who I am and I want that connection with my readers.
I am hoping to get into instagram stories wagon soon. This is probably a way to connect with you on a whole different level. Being on video is one of my fears. I didn’t even had one at my wedding. I know it sounds silly, but I’m afraid of people not understanding what I’m saying. As a true bilingual person, I don’t always pronounce things correctly. Sometimes I say things backwards and other times I mix both languages. I know what you’re thinking… “Mel, this isn’t as bad as you think” “This is part of who you are”. I know, but I can’t help. Sometimes there are fears we have that are so silly, yet prevents us from conquering them. I’ve started making some videos on my Bella V account, so I’m slightly getting the hang of it. Stay tune on Instagram 😉
Okay, I’m down ranting. Let’s get down to business and share with you some of my recent ootd on Instagram
Off the Shoulder Palm Print
I love palm print! Every single time I wear it, I feel like I’m walking the streets of Miami. This top is so light-weight, prefect for those hot summer days. Unfortuanlly this top is already packed away for the season, but the first warm day next year… you’ll definitely see me wearing it 😉 Top from local boutique, but I’ve linked similar options.
Flat Sandals
You have no idea how badly I wanted these sandals! They never had my size at my local target, until I found them out of town while visiting family. I got them pretty late in the season, but was able to score the blush ones on sale! Originally I was going for the blue double strap sandals, but remembered how much I love my yellow heels. I wore them all summer long with every outfit. So, it was a no-brainer I needed a pair these mini heel sandals.
Emborioered Heels embroidered
Emborioed was a huge trend for summer, hopefully its here to stay. These shoes work great with any basic outfit, creating the prefect statement. Unfortunately, I couldn’t link the exact shoe (you can find them at JustFab), but I’ve link pretty ones down below 😉
Mustard Fall Outfit
I love a good mustard outfit for fall! I was a little worried this cardigan was going to be longer for my petite frame, but I like the fact that it looks more like a duster instead. Have been wearing non stop with my recent fall looks, because I just love it too much. I love styling this cardigan with all my neutral outfits.
Oh my goodness… this dress is one of those that hits you in all the right places! The wrap style is such a win win for anybody shape. And can we a moment to take in this beautiful color!! This dress is sold-out, but checkout similar options down below.
Plaid dresses for fall? Absolutely! I adore this dress so much. The details are so fun and classy. Now, I just need a date night to wear it 🙂

Fall Cozy Look
Fall is all about being extra cozy! This cardigan feels like you’re wearing a teddy bear!! I wore it to an outside event this past weekend and I kept getting so many compliments on it… how can you not?
