Hi loves,
I welcomed my 30’s a few years ago and decided it’ll be fun to throw some “how to’s” when it comes to dressing for this age group. First, I started with wearing a crop top in your thirties and now I am walking my way through. See, I find some people think once you hit your thirties its all down hill from there. Creating such a negative impact. But that’s so far from the truth. I find the older we get the more confidence we should have with our outfit choices. We know who we are, what we want and what we’re all about it! I don’t believe a certain age dictates what you could or can’t wear. There is always a way to make styles work. And today I am taking you down the mesh trend.

When I think of mesh I automatically think of two things, stockings or lingerie. That is not the case with this trend. More and more you are seeing mesh be worn in your everyday wardrobe and I am kinda liking it. What I love the most about it is you can really choose how much you want to show to your comfort level. With fashion I am a daredevil!
I love the floral print on this mesh top with hints of blush and blue! It adds the right amount of feminine to this edgy style. The print and color also helps tone down the mesh a bit. To make this top work for me, I wore it over a cami bralette. This bralette is a longer in length than your usual, making it more like a cami. Leaving the arms more sheer. The temps have been staying around 70s here so I’m still rocking my mid rise white denim skirt. Any mid rise bottoms will work for this look, making it more mature. Open toe heels is still an option for now, so I am going to wear them for as long as I can. To finish my look I added white earrings and a blue suede round bag. This bag is old, but checkout similar styles down below.

How would you wear a mesh top?
Happy weekend friends! What are your weekend plans? I have family coming over and I am so excited to eat some hispanic homemade food! We are having roasted pork shoulder, rice with pigeon peas, potato salad and fish salad. Yum, Yum, YUM. I can’t wait. This is a traditional meal we need to eat during the holidays. But I am impatient. Besides, just like with fashion, traditional meals should be enjoyed more than a certain date. Enjoy the weekend friends,

Thanks so much for the feature. I really appreciate it so much. Love that cute little round purse too.
I love mesh pieces. They are so edgy and cool. And I wear them often well into my 40’s! So you go on and rock this trend in your 30’s, my friend. I love the dark floral of this top. And that white denim skirt is making me really want one in my closet. Great outfit!

That is such a cute mesh top and you wear it so well! I don’t actually think I have any mesh in my wardrobe – I find layering tricky in the humidity here, haha! A pretty bralette under it would be a better way to go!
Thank you for the link up!
Hope that you have had a good week and have a nice weekend ahead of you 🙂
I love what you said about aging and confidence, I definitely find that rings true for myself. Love the mesh top and the dark floral for fall, and the purse was just the icing on a delicious cake. Speaking of delicious, your family meal sounds amazing. I am curious what rice and pigeon peas are?

That mesh floral bouse is very pretty! It is not obviously made out of mesh and is very elegant! I would definitely wear something like that!
