Fall Weekend Getaway Look + WW Linkup

Sometimes I just need a little getaway to recharge myself, regroup, decompress, just simply chill! Do you ever feel that way? Because the hustle and bustle sometimes gets to you and you just need to step away for a bit to get it together. Weekend getaways are always a favorite of mine. Enough days to help this girl and just have a little fun. Me and the hubby are going to Boston for the weekend to celebrate my birthday! As a city girl myself, I’m sure you know my excitement to visit Boston this weekend. I’ve only gone during the summer, so I’m happy to see what its like for fall.

I think its a no brainer we all love plaid for fall! I love this oversized button down plaid top. It’s cozy yet light weight. You can wear it open as a cardigan with a basic dress, button down with leggings, or tie a knot with high-waist jeans. Since its oversized you can also style it as a one shoulder top. I’ve raved about these jeans in the past, because I LOVE them! The stretch in them is amazing. Just the prefect amount of stretch to make them feel comfortable, but not loose. You ever had a pair of jeans that once you’ve been wearing them for over an hour, you have to keep pulling them up over and over throughout the day?…. Annoying!! These jeans stay in place all day and the button fly detail is my favorite part 😉

I finished my look for Boston with a pair of flat cut-out booties, my favorite crossbody bag at the moment, and a leather jacket.

Happy Friday! I have a couple of meetings this morning and then back home to finish packing for my getaway!! I’m usually not a planner when it comes to vacation or trips, but I have somethings in mind I want to do while in Boston.
