Denim on Denim + WW Linkup

Hi loves,

Denim is a must have this spring. Weather it’s embroidered, dress, rompers or just denim on denim… it is seen everywhere! I decided to conquer denim on denim look which isn’t as easy as I thought. There was so much to consider when creating it. Do you go with identical denim wash? Or change it up a bit? I don’t own any identical tops to match my jeans, so I went for different washes.

This is my first pair of embroidered jeans and I am already obsessed! These jeans are different that your usual pair and they are prefect for the warm weather. I was a little worried the patches would make them uncomfortable and that’s one thing that drive me bananas about jeans. These babies fit and feel just right! I decided to go with my favorite loose fit, tie top I got last summer. Tuck in the front and good to go 🙂

I wear this animal print clutch all year round! It is one of those pieces that matches with everything!! And of course I couldn’t forget about a pop of color with my fun tomato tassel necklace and coral pumps to complete my look.

What are your thoughts on rocking a denim on denim look?

It has been a really crazy week. The kids are on spring break and our schedules are a little crazy. Taking sometime off to take them to enjoy some activities since they’ve been at the shop with me these past couple of days.
