Hi loves,
My December Stitch Fix has finally arrived! I swear nothing feels more exciting than seeing a blue little box waiting on my doorstep. For this stitch fix I requested some items to be in my box for the holidays. I wanted a red velvet skirt and leather leggings. Unfortunately neither one was available, so my stylist send some other options instead. As always, I sneaked to see what I was getting before it was arrived and was so excited to see a neon item in my box. But before I spill the beans and give you my thoughts on this fix, let’s go over some details about stitch fix incase you’re unaware.
I’m sure everyone and their mother know about Stitch Fix, but it case you’re uncertain it’s a clothing subscription box. You can choose from women, men and even children clothing. You fill out a survey online detailing your style, sizes, what you like or dislike. How often you receive a fix, is totally up to you. You can get them monthly, every two weeks, quarterly. You pay a $20 styling fee upfront that can be used towards your purchase. A stylist will then pick 5 items depending on your profile. Once you receive your fix, you have a couple of days to try on and decide what you’ll like to keep and send everything you didn’t like back in a prepaid shipping bag. If there is something you love, but the size was off, they also offer exchanges. It’s that simple, my friends!

Lemon Tart – Astrid Knit Tunic Blazer
I’m sure by now, you know I am a HUGE fan of blazers! I wear them all the time as the perfect layering piece (last seen here and here). Long are the days blazers were seen as office wear only. Now days nothing looks more chic than pumps, graphic tee, jeans, and a blazer. This hunter green blazer has great stretch and its a tunic style. Comes with pockets which is always a plus and no shoulder pads. Sometimes blazer with shoulder pads tends to cut my petite frame, which is a no no for me. Yet, as much as I love blazers, I’m unsure about how I feel about this one. Maybe its too stretchy and not structure enough for my style.

Franco Sarto – Lima Printed Leather Elastic Strap Heel
Who else is loving snake print? I swear I’ve been adding this print more and more to my wardrobe. These heels couldn’t be a better add on. Even though they are a strap pumps and winter has basically begun for upstate NY, I can see myself wearing this for the holidays. Wouldn’t they be adorable with a simple black dress and red statement earrings? Definitely keeping these.

Goldray – Sharima Mock Neck Balloon Sleeve Pullover
I was so excited to see this neon sweater in my box. Partially because I’ve been wanting to jump the neon wagon and try it out. Currently I own a few items that are neon, but they are accessories and shoes. I find it easier to try this trend with something much smaller. But I am sold on this trend! This neon relaxed sweater has balloon sleeve and mock neckline. I am a big fan of balloon sleeves, but this sweater fells a bit too bulky for my liking. It makes me look bigger overall and the mock neck was too tight for comfort. As much as I love the color of this sweater, I hate the style. Unfortunately this sweater will be going back.

Liverpool – Jacqueline Printed Skinny Pant
Out of all the items in this fix, these pants were the one item I thought for sure wasn’t me. There is always one of those 😉 But I LOVE them. I’ve been eyeing these metallic snake print pants from express for a bit and they currently sold out on my size. They remind me so much of this pair and it will be crazy not keeping them. Besides these metallic pants fits me like a glove. They will also be a great item to wear for the holidays. I can see myself styling them with a white sweater, bold earrings, and pumps. Keeping these!!

T4T – Connie Jogger
The last item I received in this fix are these burgundy fleece joggers. They are a relaxed fit with drawstring waist tie for a more fitted fit. As I’ve mentioned on my previous Stitch Fix try on haul, I am very particular when it comes to my fix. I am not looking for items I can find myself. This service is more to find unique pieces to add to my wardrobe. There’s nothing too special about these joggers and they also don’t really fit my style.
What was your favorite item from this stitch fix try on haul?

I live vicariously through others’ Stitch Fix try-ons :/ I agree with you on that sweater. It’s a little too much for a petite frame, I think, and a too-tight neck is a problem. I do love that blazer. True, it’s not really a dress-up look, but it looks comfortable and like a way to dress up a tee and jeans. And those shoes are awesome! I’m with you on those. Love the metallic skinny pants (though it’s a little hard to see the pattern or metallic in the photo) – they fit you great! And I really do like those joggers but you’re right – when you get a box of goodies, you hope the pieces will be somewhat more unique. At any rate, I’m glad you found a few must-keep pieces and I know some day I’m going to bite the bullet and give StitchFix a try.
