Hi loves,
Remember when cargo pants were a cool thing? I had two pairs, one in olive and another one in black. Believe when I say I wore the heck out of them for so long. Long enough until I got sick of wearing them, isn’t that how it goes? Mine were somewhat baggy with no structure… it was the 90’s guys, but they were my thing back then. Recently when I first saw cargo pants back in stores I honestly thought “never again”. Yet just like the tie dye trend it’s making its way into my heart. You know when a trend becomes big and you’re like “nope”, then the more you see it the more you kinda give in and like it?
Cargo pants are making a come back, this time in different styles which I love. No more slouchy pants that can fit five of you in one leg. I am seeing sleeker, modern, and even some styles in satin which you already know I am big fan of. Obsessing over this pair that resembles joggers which makes it more easier for you to like and style. You can style these pants casually with sneakers, a white tee and denim jacket. They can also be dress up how I did with a cami and leather jacket. Can’t wait until the days I can style these pants with strappy heels, but until then socks booties is the way to go.

Happy weekend loves! Any fun plans? I will be working a women’s expo this weekend with our boutique. Which means I get to work and also do some shopping around 😉 Enjoy the weekend,

Talking about satin… can we get an amen on Nancy’s from Nancys Fashion Style look? Love everything about her look, from the blush color skirt to how she paired it with a chunky sweater and white booties. Perfection!! Make sure to stop by and say hi.

Such a great outfit, Mel! Very edgy. I love the slimmer fit cargo pants that are trending right now. I also loved the baggy ones from the 90’s! But I don’t think I have any of them. I guess maybe I need to be on the look out now. Have a great weekend!

hahaha. I can recall several times that I was like “nope” but then I loved and couldn’t get off the train. Hahaha. This is a great look on you and I love how they pair so well with booties while the weather is still not quite transitioned over to spring. I could definitely get behind a casual looking pair of cargo pants. Enjoy the weekend and I hope its a roaring success.

I’ve always loved cargo pants. I love them when they were baggy and I love them now when they look sleeker. So long as those pockets are functional, you can count me in! My parents are in town. The hubby and I get a free day tomorrow so I am keeping my fingers crossed for a date night! Have fun at the expo and I can’t wait to see what you get! Happy weekend!

Ha! I love the line: “ You know when a trend becomes big and you’re like “nope”, then the more you see it the more you kinda give in and like it?“ I can so relate to it!
