My Birthday Suit + WW Linkup

Okay, this birthday suit isn’t what you’re thinking of! Every year for my birthday I buy myself a special outfit I want to rock that day. To some birthdays is just another day, but those that know me know birthdays in this house is a big deal. Every year I try to come up with ideas for my kids birthdays that will make them feel extra special. That same amount of passion I give them, is the same passion I give myself. Because mama has to love her self too!!

This year it took me a long time to find that special outfit. I liked a lot of pieces, they just wasn’t a big deal to even purchase, yet wear for my birthday. I decided to go through my wishlist I’ve done in the past here on my blog and remembered how much I loved this trend early this year. I am obsessed with blazer dress. There is something pretty badass about wearing a blazer. You sort of feel like a total boss babe. Now a blazer dress? Thats a whole different level of boss babe!! This is the type of birthday outfit I wanted. One that makes me feel like I’m all that and a bag of chips. One that helps me embrace and own my age. Makes me feel empowered. This is it babes!

When I found this blazer dress immediately, I feel in love! Its everything and more. Plus, for under $45 there was no way I was leaving it behind. I’m in love with green right now and this color is just prefect to wear for the holidays and all through winter. I can already see me styling it with green shorts or a skirt and a different belt for a monochromatic look or with a pair of distressed jeans and boots.

I had a great time celebrating my birthday in Boston. Boston is a city I just absolutely love. I was able to do some shopping, sight seeing, slept in, had way too many deserts and wine! And I was home just in time to finish celebrating with little turkeys 😉
