Hope you guys had a great weekend! We were stuck indoors for part of weekend due to the winter storm we had. The amount of snow we have in our backyard is insane! I have to say, it did look beautiful… winter wonderland, but I’m over it now. My vacation to Jamaica is only days away and I find myself beyond excited to get for the warm weather and getting some relaxation!! I did some shopping last week for some vacation staples, I can’t wait to share with you guys.
I received my monthly JustFab email and seen this beauty, I knew these heels are going with me. Stripes and floral are two prints I could never get sick of and I feel are definitely beach vaca must have. Most of my dinner attire are solid colors, that I know will pair perfectly with this shoe.
For the most part, my vacation will consist of bathing suits 🙂 Besides the tassel which I love, the gold and cobalt blue are my ideal vacation colors…. which will look amazing once you get that summer glow!
I’m all about minimal makeup while away, but I do still like full coverage! My favorite CC cream hands DOWN is It Cosmetics!! All you need is a couple of pumps and your covering every sun spot, pimple, plus it has SPF 50 which I will need with the Jamaica sun 🙂
This is my backup dress incase it gets a little chilly at night. Loving the different shades of green, which looks good on my skin tone. And the best part its $12.90!! Even if I don’t get to wear this on my trip, I know it will be getting some use of it come spring time.
#thredupfinds I also hit my favorite thrift shop to see if I can score some pieces to bring to my trip and I found this Topshop print dress for $17. As I mentioned last summer, I am obsessed with any leaf or palm tree prints and I am so happy to have found this dress!
My hair is wavy and I don’t mean Jennifer Aniston beach curls, I am talking about fizzy semi curly hair! Since I will spend my days in the pool and the beach, most likely I will be washing my hair everyday. Being able to use a styling product and not have to worry about my frizz is what I need. Apply a small amount while your hair is damp and let it hair dry, you will end up with that beach hair we all want to achieve!
Most of my dinner attire I am planning on taking with me is white, why not add another LWD in the mix. Crochet just screams Caribbean vacation! Hopefully it fits me like a glove because this is my favorite item in this list.
I don’t own anything in orange, more coral , but nada in this color. This Zara dress is another ThredUp find I am so pleased with. It has that edgy, open back that is my style completely.
Who needs another lipstick? Me, of course 🙂 This is a great pinkish – nude color that I think will look great on many different skin tones. Plus, its long lasting.. no need to reapply!
