I love this time of the year where it’s kinda fall but still feels like summer. Mostly because I am not ready to give up on the warm weather or my summer clothes. But this transitional period between the end of summer and beginning of fall can be quite confusing into what you should wear. You feel like September is here, time to bring out all the plaid and leather you have. Not necessarily. You sort of have the best of both worlds this time of the year. Not too hot and not cold yet. So the plaid and leather can wait a few more weeks and let’s enjoy the time when a sweater is sufficient enough to keep us warm.
I know most people are ready to introduce their darker color fall pieces into their looks, but since its still on the warmer side, why not add your neutral color pieces instead? Personally I prefer the look of warm neutrals over dark any day. It’s how I fell in love with this distressed sweater. I featured this sweater on my recent amazon try on haul. At first guys, I wasn’t sure if the distressed sweater trend was for me. But who was I fooling? Is it weird to describe a sweater as easy going? This sweater feels so comfy on, you’ll want to wear it over and over again. I have worn it with jeans already, but love the way it looks with this skirt. Almost like your not really trying but somehow you managed to kill your look!
This white denim skirt has been featured so many times (here and here) and it has been one of my favorite summer purchases. So its a no brainer I decided to incorporate into a transition fall look. Finished my look with delicate jewelry with my layered necklaces and earrings crawlers. Not ready to put my open toe heels away just yet, so I went for these studs block heels.
Happy Friday? Any exciting plans? I have so much to do this weekend, including a work trip to NYC. I haven’t gone to NYC since I went for my dad. It’s almost like I have mix signals with it. This is the city I grew up in and always love to visit, but feel like I have too many memories now. Definitely a lot of good moments and some recent tough ones. Going to NYC always include visiting my dad and now it sort of feels a bit empty. Who knew such a HUGE city can feel this way. I am praying when I get there these anxious feelings will go away. And it can become a city that just holds good memories all over again. Positive thinking is how I have to heal. Pray your homegirl got this! Enjoy the weekend loves,

Talking about transitional outfit, this weeks feature blogger is rocking just that. Mireille from Chez Mireille Fashion Travel Mom has a great post on how she is transitioning her black jumpsuit. My favorite look is with a white denim jacket and sandals. Make sure you stop by and say hi 😉
