Who’s ready for spring break? Now the real question… are you ready to pack for your trip? I use to dread packing, I kid you not. I use to wait until the night before, stressing like no one business and definitely overpacking or not packing the right items. You sort of get so excited for your trip, doing all sorts of preparations and planning that you kinda forget about packing! But its okay babes I have you covered! Its been 2 weeks since I got pack from Coasta Rica so I literally just went through this! For those not wanting to stress packing, here’s a little cheat sheet of some items you need to bring along!
How many days your you going for? I like to wear a different bathing suit each day I’m there. The good thing about swimwear is how easy they can fit in your luggage. You can roll them into your shoes, side pockets, etc. Tip: If you don’t have enough bathing suits for all the days your there or maybe you rather just take a few, mix match your suits! It will feel like a brand new look each day!
Keep it really simple after all your on vacation! Go for all your lightweight items like coverups, rompers, button down dresses. You will probably spend your days out doors, by the pool or beach and you will be hot and sweating.
Keep Excursion Attire in Mind
Are you doing any fun activities? Some of these excursions require proper attire. Pack some sneakers, shorts or workout clothes for these activities!
You most likely will spend your night drinking and dancing away. To make more room in my luggage, I only packed dresses. Just one piece, no matching top or bottoms. If your not a dress kind of girl, go for some cute jumpsuits! Jumpsuits doesn’t require any matching item nor does it take up too much room in your suitcase!
I usually don’t bring any jewelry with me while on vacation, because I get lazy as soon as I arrive! Also, the risk of me loosing it will haunting me my entire trip. I packed one simple necklace, a pair of hoops and a pair of statement earrings… and thats it! Aside from jewelry, do bring sunnies, hat, neutral clutch, and a beach bag! I forgot my beach bag at home (and I put it by the door next to my suitcase so I won’t forget… and I still forgot it) and ended up paying so much for a bag I didn’t really like. A beach bag is an essential, no need to carry all your stuff around the beach, plus if your going on any excursion, your going to need a tote to put all your stuff in!
You guys know I am a shoe addict 🙂 But when it comes to vacation, I put these feelings aside and get down to business. All you will need are flip flops for the pool and beach, flat sandals, and sneakers. I only to pack 1 pair of heels, because honestly… you won’t really need them. Tip: Take to consideration opt for some wedges instead. Most of these resorts/hotels have patio flooring outside (most likely stone). The last thing you want to do is fall and look like the girl who cant walk in heels!!
Less is more when your on vacation. First you don’t know no one there, most likely will never see them again and besides your there to chill! Checkout this post where I talk all about minimal makeup while traveling!
SPF All Day Long
And please babes… don’t forget your sunscreen!
