Hi loves,
*Thank you Influenster for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own*
Let’s talk beauty! There are beauty products from all price points I love, like my L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Mascara or my Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, price isn’t always what I look for. Now this rule doesn’t necessary apply to foundation. I like to apply my foundation in the morning and don’t retouch at all through out the day, I just don’t even think about about that. I get too busy and thats always the very last thing going through my brain. So, basically I need my foundation to last! To me this means spending a little extra on it. A couple of years ago while on vacation I left my foundation home, so I stopped by a local pharmacy and in search for one I can use. Searching for this foundation was literally like searching for a new car. I picked one up and put it right back down. At that time Maybelline came out with a new foundation, so I went with it… all while crossing my fingers it will workout! To my surprise it worked out just fine. This made me think, “so a $10 foundation can work, I don’t always have to hit Sephora or Ulta and spend $50, plus as soon as I run out of my foundation.
When Influenster send me a box with this foundation I knew it was going to be a win. Not only did I receive this foundation, but Maybelline Master Prime to go along. I wore this combo a hand full of times, giving me enough time for an honest review. Before I continued, I have combo oily skin. I tend to be dry everywhere but my T-Zone. Here are my pros and cons with these two products
Fit Me Foundation Dewy + Smooth
Pros
Good coverage
Under $10
Can be buildable
No pump (this may not be a con for some, but I like adjusting how much product I actually need!)
Dewy, but not oily
Sets as a dry finished
Contains SPF
Cons
Sets quickly (you need to blend fast)
Last for about 4-6 hours without retouch (noticed patching on my checks and chin around 5 hours of wear)
Can emphasize your pores
Not enough skin tone options
Pros
Under $10
Light weigh (feels more like a moisturizer)
Helps your foundation go on smoothly
No pump (this may not be a con for some, but I like adjusting how much product I actually need!)
Helps minimize the appearance of pores
Cons
Light fragrance (this didn’t bother me personally)
You will need to set your face if using it with a foundation
Doesn’t help to prolonged your foundation (tried it with foundation last for about 4 hours)
Have you tried Maybelline’s Fit Me Foundation and/or Master Prime? What are your thoughts?

I really need to get back into Influenster again. I received a voxbox from them almost two years ago. I should be more active again to receive some more cool stuff!
I rarely wear makeup, except a bit of lip color and sometimes foundation (I don’t care to touch up in the middle of the day, either). It’s always nice when you can find a cheaper alternative to something you like!
Thanks for joining the Thursday Moda Link-up!
